We offer:
• All methods of long acting contraception,
including IUD (coil), Mirena IUS, implants and
injections, as well as short acting contraception,
like condoms and the Pill – we will discuss your
options with you so you can choose the right
contraception for you
• Free condoms, lubricant and dental dam
• Tests and treatment for sexually transmitted
infections (STIs) – we will refer you to the Trafalgar
clinic at Queen Elizabeth Hospital if we can’t treat
you
• Pregnancy testing
• Information about and referral for abortion –
if you live in Greenwich or a registered with a
Greenwich GP you can refer yourself by ringing
0845 365 8293
• Community gynaecology services for help
with period problems, menopause and fertility
assessment – you will need to be referred to this
service by your GP
Your visit
If you are attending a walk-in clinic, please:
• Take a number and fill in the form
• Take a seat and wait for your number to be called by:
-- a triage nurse, who will ask you about what you are at the
clinic for - this will help us to ensure you are seen by the
right person
-- the receptionist, to take your details
• The nurse or doctor will call you into the clinic room.
If you have an appointment, please:
• Give your name to the receptionist and fill in the form
• Take a seat and wait for the doctor to call you into the
appointment room.

Your visit here is confidential unless you are under 16 and are being
harmed or abused.

Temporary new location (from 22 April 2014)

Market Street Health Centre is undergoing an extensive refurbishment
and while this happens we have moved to the Outpatients
department at Memorial Hospital on Shooters Hill. The refurbishment
is expected to take approximately one year.

While we are based at Memorial Hospital we will be running clinics at
Memorial Hospital and at Clover Health Centre in Woolwich.
