Conditions of Service for Operation Augury
People Policy and Employment Conditions Branch
Correct as at 08 October 15
The 4 things you need to know
• OP AUGURY has been declared non-warlike service WEF 04
July 2014.
• If you are assigned for duty to OP AUGURY and inside the
specified area then all relevant CoS apply. Outside this area?
Depending on the reason, some CoS may no longer apply.
• The current Deployment Allowance rate is $82.13per day. This
could increase or decrease so don’t make significant financial
decisions based on this amount!
• The length of your deployment may affect some non-financial
CoS like leave, removals and housing contributions.

Entitlements to CoS
•
The specified area of operations for OP AUGURY is shown in the next
slide.
•
Why do you need to know this? Well if you’re outside the specified area,
then in most circumstances your CoS entitlement will cease.
•
You’re also not entitled to CoS if you’re not assigned for operational duty
to OP AUGURY . Your DEPORD or TASKORD will indicate if you’re
assigned for operational / non-operational (visitor) duty.
