Today Mark will be leading our worship and after the break Simon will be
continuing our series “From Here to Maturity”, speaking to us on “I am happy
to share my faith and story with others”. We’ll also be having communion
together at the end of the service.

CONNECTING CHRISTIANS IN BUSINESS
There is a networking event tomorrow night, Monday 12th October, for Christians
working in business in Leeds. It’s at the offices of Redmayne-Bentley LLP in Bond

Come along to Norma and Andy Hobbs’s on Saturday 17th October from 10.30am till

JESUS AND WILD NATURE
Join Noel Moules for an informative, practical and spiritual day to explore how an
earth-based discipleship brings good news to all creation. Saturday 17th October at St

KINGDOM PERFORMANCE MINISTRIES
KPM are running two new open workshops for those interested in developing or
refreshing their dance and drama skills. They are on Saturday 17th October (dance)
and 24th October (drama) from 10am – 4pm at the Reconciliation Centre in Leeds at
a cost of £10 each. Book via [email protected]
DISCIPLESHIP ON THE MARGINS
A half day conference to explore how we can disciple people at risk of being
marginalised. It’s at the St George’s Centre on Saturday 17th October from 9 – 1pm
with Jon Swales and Dave Paterson. RSVP to [email protected]
WEEKEND AWAY 2016
Last month we launched our Weekend Away 2016 and we are now over half full! You
are invited to come and join us as we have fun and meet God together over the
weekend of 1st – 3rd July at Scargill House in the Yorkshire Dales. There will be
worship, teaching and a choice of indoor and outdoor activities – and we hope time to
develop your relationship with God and each other. Information has been emailed out
already, so book now – accommodation will be allocated on a first-come first-served
basis!
THIS COMING WEEK
Tuesdays at 11am in the church office - a short prayer meeting with the staff and
whoever would like to pray for Chapel A.
Housegroups generally meet on Monday, Tuesday and alternate Thursday evenings.

Tuesdays - Totally Tuesday for Years 5-7, 6.30 - 8pm in Chapel All. Methodist Hall.
Wednesday – WOW youth group for Years 8+ in Chapel Allerton Methodist Hall.
