David, the drummer for Speak Louder picked up the drums at 12, hoping it would help him get some attention from the girls. A year later, after his first gig, he realized singers and guitarists were the one getting all the girls attention. Too late, he was hooked on drums. While growing up, David's love for music was fostered by influences of rock bands like Van Halen, Led Zeppelin, Rush, Pink Floyd, Def Leppard, The Police and AC/DC. While in high school David played in multiple bands and mistakenly sold everything when he went to college. Fast forward 20 years and the mid life crisis kicked in and has since played in several bands including The Mid Life Crisis Band, Wanted For Questioning and now with Speak Louder. David has rocked in marque venues like the Palladium Ball Room, Howl At The Moon and BB Kings to name a few. David now rocks with Speak Louder and fills every song with attitude, wicked beats and instinctively play exactly what is needed.
