CHEM 334 PHYSICAL CHEMISTRY LABORATORY II, 2013-2014 SPRING SEMESTER Laboratory is an essential part of the course. Failure to attend more than one lab session and failure to bring more than one lab report without an excuse (medical reasons) will result in a grade of FF (Fail) in the course. Those who have reasonable excuses can take make-ups for two experiments at most. Absence for nonmedical reasons will result in a grade of ZERO. Lab begins on the 07th of March. Please study the corresponding section in your lab book ahead of time. For all your lab questions and concerns, please contact with your lab assistants; Özge TÜNCEL (C-323), Seçil SEVİM (C-323), Melda Zeynep GÜRAY (B-205) and Sıla KARACA (A-109) You will have a quiz before each experiment and you should try to do your best for each quiz. Please study for the quiz before you come to the lab. You have to prepare a report in each week that includes “purpose, introduction, procedure, data&results, calculation, and conclusion&discussion ” parts to get full credit. Additionally, the report cover must contain “name of the experiment, date of experiment, your name, assistant's name, your number and your group number”. Lab reports will be delivered in one piece (stapled) and must be handwritten. Reports will be given to your lab assistants on first Friday after the related experiment.
