CANKAYA UNIVERSITY FACULTY OF ARCHITECTURE DEPARTMENT OF ARCHITECTURE 2014 - 2015 FALL SEMESTER ARCH 303 HERITAGE CONSCIOUSNESS & DOCUMENTATION (3 0 3) This course is intended for developing heritage consciousness amongst the students of architecture. ARCH303 is the introductory level course for the possible forthcoming courses concerning the issues of heritage conservation and architectural restoration. In ARCH303 students are expected to get information about cultural heritage, understand the meaning and importance of architectural heritage and learn the methods of documentation, which is essential for transferring the built heritage of the humanity to the future generations. Grading policy: Mid-term exams: 40% Final exam : 40% Project : 20% Attendance Requirement : 70% COURSE SCHEDULE: Week 1.
