INSTRUCTION MANUAL FOR LEUKOCYTE FILTER LABORATORY USE

Ambalajından çıkartılır. (Şekil 1)
1. Unpack.. (Figure 1)
2.
Gözle kontrolü yapılır filtrede kırık, hortumunda ezik vb. var mı?
2. Verify is there are damages or there is any component loose.
3.
Filtrenin kan torbasına takılması uygun bir masa üzerinde yapılmalıdır.

3. Place bag and filter on a lab desk and spike the filter into one of the bag membrane port..

Filtre ambalajından kan torbasına takılacağı şekilde düzenek hazırlanmış sistem olarak çıkmaktadır. (Şekil 2)
4. Filter is packed and sterilised ready-to-connect with the T port of the blood bag.(Figure 2)
Bu pozisyon geçici bir pozisyondur. Burada çiviye bağlı hortum ile filtrenin altından çıkış hortumu kilitli klips ile
kapalı ve filtre ters pozisyonda durmakta, pozisyon hiç bozulmadan hazırlık işlemler yapılmalıdır.
This position is temporary. In this position the tube connected to spike and the tube under the filter are closed by the clip with
lock and the filter is in upside down position; preparatory procedures should be done in this position.

Filtre üzerinde bulunan geçici klempler ve damla ayar makarası kapatılır.

5. Close temporary clamps and roller to block on the filter.

Masanın üzerine kan torbası konulur.
6. Place the blood bag on a table.
7.
Kan torbası “T” parçası kırılır.
7. Remove the “T” part on blood bag .

Filtrenin çivisinin koruyucu kapağı çıkartılarak kan torbasının“T”çıkışından birisine kan sızmayacak şekilde takılır(Şekil 3)

8. Remove the protection cap from the spike and connect tightly the spike to one of the ends of “T” membrane of the blood bag.(Figure 3)

Laboratuar filtresi eritrosit ünitesi ile steril birleştirme cihazı ile birleştirilecekse, eritrosit ünitesinin hortumu ile filtre setinin
hortumu (çivinin altından) kaynak yapılarak birleştirilir. (Şekil 4).
9. If laboratory filter will be connected with erythrocyte unit by SCD the tube of the RBCs and the main tube of the filter should
be sealed together. (Figure 4).
10. Kan torbası, askı çubuğuna takılır. (Şekil 5)
10. Hang the blood bag on a stand..(Figure 5)
11. Filtrenin geçici klempleri ve makara açılır.
11. Open the temporary clamps and remove the drip chamber block.
12. Filtreye kan dolmaya başlar.
12. Blood flows now into the filter.
13. Filtre dolduktan sonra damlama odacığına kan dolmaya başlar.
13. Once the filter is filled, blood begins to fill up the drip chamber.
14. Damlama odacığının 1/3 kısmının dolması sağlanır.( damlama odacığına kan dolmaya başlayınca damlama odacığı yan
tutularak dolması sağlanır) damlama odacığının 1/3 ü dolup hortum setinin ucuna kadar kanın dolması beklenir sonra makara kapatılarak

14. Once 1/3 capacity of drip chamber is reached (after blood begins to fill into the drip chamber, incline the drip chamber to one side so
that it can be filled ) Wait until 1/3 capacity of the drip chamber is reached and till the tube is filled with blood; then stop blood flow by closing
the roller.(Figure 6)
15. Filtrenin hortumunu bağlı tutan kilitli klips açılarak filtre normal pozisyonuna getirilir.
15. Unfasten the clips which blocks the tube downstream the filter and allow the set to get the normal vertical straight position.

16. Transfuse the patient (Figure 7).
UYARI: kan transfüzyonu basınçlı torba ile yapılacağı zaman 400 mm hg damla/saniye aşılmamalıdır.
WARNING: When blood transfusion is done with pressurized bag; do not exceed 400 mmHg drop / second.
17. Torbadaki kan bitip hortumda kan kaldığı zaman veya torbanın sonlarında 20-30ml kan kaldığı zaman çivinin altında bulunan “Y”
parçasındaki hava filtresinin kapağı çevrilerek damlama haznesindeki kanında filtreye gitmesi sağlanır.
17. Once the blood bag is empty there could be still 20-30 ml of blood left into the bag; turn the air filter cap on the “Y” part under the spike.
18. Daha sonra filtre üzerinde bulunan hava filtresinin kapağı kırılarak açılır filtredeki ve hortum setindeki kanın tamamının torbaya gitmesi
sağlanır. (Şekil 8)
18. Then break the vent to recover the max QTY of blood. (Figure 8).

19. Hortum filtrenin akış yönünde kapatılır.
19. Seal the tube downstream the filter.

GENEL UYARILAR / GENERAL CAUTIONS
Saklama ve taşıma sırasında; During storage and transportation;
1. Taşıma ve/veya depolama sırasında lökosit filtresi kolisi kolileri atılmadan, üzerine ağır bir yük gelmeyecek şekilde en fazla sekiz koli üst üste olacak gibi elde veya taşıma arabası ile
taşınıyorsa koliler devrilmeyecek şekilde arabaya yerleştirilmelidir.
1. During shipment, up to two blood bags shippers shall be carried at the same time manually or on a trolley. Parcels should not be dropped and/or crushed and should be loaded in a way to
prevent fall over.
2. Lökosit filtresi kolisini temiz, kuru ve serin yerde saklayınız.
2. Store the box of leukocyte filter at clean, dry and cool places.
Dış ambalajı açmadan önce; Before opening overwrap;
3. Dış ambalajda gözle görülebilen bir bozulma varsa kullanmayın
3. Do not use if there is visible sign of deterioration on the overwraps.
4. Lökosit filtresi kolisi steril olarak paketlenmiştir.
4. Box of leukocyte filters are packed with sterilized.
Dış ambalaj açıldıktan sonra; After opening overwrap;
5. Lökosit filtresi dış ambalaj açıldıktan sonra en kısa sürede kullanılmalıdır.
5. Leukocyte filter should be used as soon as possible after opening their outerwraps.
Kullanmadan önce; Before usage;
6. Lökosit filtresi kullanım talimatına uygun kullanılmalıdır.
6. Leukocyte filter should be used according to the user instructions.
7. İnsan kanı ve komponentleri içindir.
7. Intended for human blood and blood components.
8. Steril ve apirojendir – EO veya Gama Işını ile steril edilmiştir.
8. Sterile and non pyrogenic – EO or gamma sterilization.
9. Lökosit filtresinde gözle görülebilen bir bozulma varsa kullanmayın.
9. Do not use if there is visible sign of deterioration on the filter
10. Lökosit filtresini ve hortumlarını kesici objelerden uzak tutun.
10. Protect the filter and tubing from sharp objects.
11. ISO EN 1135–4 e uygun transfüzyon seti kullanın
11. Use transfusion sets in compliance with ISO EN 1135–4.
12. Hava vermeyiniz.
12. Do not vent.
13. Filtre edeceğiniz kanı Kullanmadan önce karıştırın ve gerekirse kontrollü şartlarda uygun ısıya getirin.
13. Mix thorougly the blood to be filtered before use and if necessary, store under controlled conditions to achieve the appropriate temperature.
14. Kanı 1–6 0C arasında saklayın.
14. Store blood between 1–6 0C.
15. Transfüzyon öncesi torbadaki kanı ve alıcının kanını Cross testi ile karşılaştırın.
15. Cross match the contents of the bag with recipient before transfusion.
Kullanım sonrası / After usage
Tek kullanımlıktır, Kullanım sonrası Tıbbi Atık Kutusuna atılması gerekir. UYARI: Tekrar kullanımı halinde enfeksiyon riski vardır.
Single use only, after usage it should be thrown to the Medical Waste. CAUTION: A risk of infection when used more than once.
DİKKAT: Bu tıbbi cihaz di(2-etilhekzil) ftalat (DEHP) içerir. Hayvansal verilere dayanarak üreme ve gelişim süreçlerine advers etki riski bulunan
belirli hasta gruplarında, DEHP’e uzun süreli maruz kalmayı sınırlamak için önlemler alınmalıdır. Bu hastalar; erkek yenidoğanlar, infantlar ve küçük çocuklar, peripubertal erkekler ve hamile
veya emziren kadınlardır. Bununla birlikte faydaları DEHP’e maruz kalma ile ilişkilendirilebilecek herhangi bir olası sağlık riskinden daha önemli olduğunda tıbbi prosedürlerden
kaçınılmamalıdır. Lütfen bilinçli bir karar verebilmek için güncel literatüre bakın.”
CAUTION: This medical device contains di(2-etilhekzil) ftalat (DEHP). Considering the animal data’s, precautions should be taken to restrict to be a subject of DEHP especially for certain
patients affected on their reproduction and development processes. These patients are newborn boys, infants and children, prepubertal boys and pregnant, and nursing mothers. Please check out
the updated literature to give a conscious decision.
