Seeing that all cultural properties belong to mankind and have
to be transmitted to future generations;
It is one of the most important duties of mankind that
transferring of cultural properties/heritage to future
generations by protecting them.
In today’s world, giving the importance to the protection of cultural
heritage of the countries is assumed a criterion of development
İnsanlığın ortak mirası, Kültür varlıklarının korunarak gelecek nesillere aktarılması günümüz
dünyasının en başta gelen görevlerinden birisidir .
Kültür varlıklarının korunmasına verilen önem, ülkelerin bir gelişmişlik kriteri olarak algılanmaktadır.

Protection is necessary and have to be continual, even if these dangers are not exist.
Everything has a dynamic equilibrium with its environment. And every
material has a stable form in the state of equilibrium. No change occurs.
When the parameters which characterizes of environment such as humidity,
temperature, pressure, oxygen level, acidity, microbiology, light level etc.
changes, the equilibrium is broken. And according to thermodynamic laws,
to establish a new equilibrium is indispensable. In other words, the material
forces to adapt to new environment. This means “material changes
chemically or physically by itself for adaptation”

REMEDIAL CONSERVATION
• The finding and performing for required the best protection method by diagnosing the
reasons and effects which cause deteriorate cultural property.
• The primary goal of conservation is to eliminate the results of deterioration of cultural
property and give the resistance to them for further deterioration factors.
PREVENTIVE CONSERVATION
• The protection of cultural property through activities that minimize chemical and
physical deterioration and damage and that prevent loss of informational content.
• The primary goal of preservation is to prolong the existence of cultural property
