Dear,
najljepše se zahvaljujem na časti ukazanoj Ministarstvu poljoprivrede
za visokim pokroviteljstvom nad održavanjem kinoloških manifestacija:
Europskog prvenstva za kontinentalne ptičare, Svjetskog prvenstva za
njemačke kratkodlake ptičare i Svjetskog prvenstva za epagneul bretone, koje
će se održati u okolici Zadra u razdoblju od 27. veljače do 2. ožujka 2012. godine.
Republika Hrvatska, posebice Zadarska regija, već je dugo vremena
važno mjesto održavanja manifestacija lovne kinologije, osobito u radu
kontinentalnih ptičara, njemačkih kratkodlakih ptičara i epagneul bretona.
Navedene manifestacije cijenjene su s obzirom na pokazane ostvarene
rezultate proizašle iz dugogodišnje rada na uzgoju navedenih pasmina.
I am mostly grateful for the honor given to Ministry of Agriculture for
the high sponsorship over cynological events: the European Championship for
continental pointing dogs, the World Championships for German Shorthaired
Pointer and the World Championships for Epagneul Breton, which will be
held in Zadar area in the period of 27th of February to 2nd of March 2012
The Republic of Croatia, especially the region of Zadar, has long been
an important place of hunting cynological events, especially in the work of
continental pointers, German shorthaired pointers and Epagneul Bretons.
These events are appreciated due to the demonstrated achieved results
derived from long-term work on the breeding of above mentioned breeds.
Prije svega, želim svim natjecateljima i prijateljima kontinentalnih
ptičara, njemačkih kratkodlakih ptičara i epagnuel bretona dobrodošlicu,
sa željom da uživaju prateći rad ptičara koji će biti prezentirani u lovištima
gdje je sačuvana prirodna trčka, što daje posebnu draž ovim kinološkim
manifestacijama, što će nadamo se doprinijeti da dou do izražaja sve kvalitete
pasa koji će sudjelovati u natjecanjima.
First of all, I want to all the competitors and friends of continental
pointers, German shorthaired pointers and Epagnuel Breton to feel
welcome, with a desire to enjoy following work of pointing dogs that will be
presented in the hunting fields where natural partridge is preserved, which
gives a special charm to these cynological events, and this will hopefully
contribute to express all the qualities of dogs that will participate in trials.
Naglašavam da ćemo i ubuduće cijeniti i podržavati rad na organizaciji
značajnih manifestacija u području lovne natjecateljske kinologije te, nastavno
na sve gore navedeno, želim Vama i Vašim suradnicima uspješnu organizaciju
i ostvarenje poticajnih rezultata koji će u budućim natjecanjima biti prepoznati
kao osnova za daljnji kvalitetan rad u navedenom području.
I emphasize that we will continue to appreciate and support the
work of the organization of important events in the field of hunting cynology,
in addition to everything mentioned, I wish you and your colleagues a
successful organization and achievement of stimulating results that in
future trials will be recognized as a good basis for further work in this area.

U našoj zemlji se pod okriljem Hrvatskog kinološkog saveza nastavlja
duga tradicija održavanja svjetskih i europskih kinoloških radnih manifestacija
koje se temelje na vrlo uspješnoj organizaciji, entuzijazmu, natjecateljskoj
strasti i uživanju u prirodi. Hrvatska je zemlja bez granica, otvorena za sve
ljudske djelatnosti, za sve što zbližava ljude i stvara prijateljstva. U tome i
kinologija zauzima istaknuto mjesto.
The long tradition of organizing World and European dog working events
under protection of Croatian Kennel Club has been continued in our country based on a very successful organization, enthusiasm, competitive passion and
enjoyment of nature. Croatia is a country without frontiers, open for all kinds of
human activities, for everything that connects people and initiates friendships.
Cynology plays an important role in these happenings.
Na natjecanjima proljetnog Kupa Europe u radu kontinentalnih ptičara
i Svjetskog prvenstva u radu njemačkih kratkodlakih ptičara, osim saznanja o
hrvatskoj kinologiji, natjecatelji, gosti i posjetitelji upoznat će se o prirodnom
lovnom bogatstvu i zaštićenosti divljači, te o smještajnim kapacitetima,
obalama i plažama, čistoći mora, blagodatima klime i drugim ljepotama
Hrvatske.
Uvjeren sam da će i na ovim manifestacijama gostoprimstvo, uspješna
organizacija, zbližavanje i suradnja psa i čovjeka i vrlo razvijena lovna kinologijaa,
pružiti maksimalne užitke i da će uzgojeni i obučeni psi prikazati sve vrline i
uroene «mudrosti», što će stvarati doživljaje s velikim uzbuenjem.
Participants and guests at the spring European Cup in work of continental
pointers and world championship in work of German shorthaired pointers will
learn about the Croatian cynology, but will also discover the natural wealth of our
hunting grounds, will see for themselves the protection of wild life and all kinds
of game, will find out about accomodation possibilities, and will become aware of
the beauties of our shores and beaches, clear water of our sea, mildness of our
climate and other beauties of Croatia.
Posebna mi je čast da mogu pozdraviti sve natjecatelje, kinološke
suce, goste i posjetioce, želeći vam ugodan boravak, sportsku sreću – najbolje
rezultate, i da iz naše Hrvatske i lovnih terena u blizini Zadra ponesete najbolje
i najljepše uspomene.
I am convinced that these events will be an opportunity to present our
hospitality and good organization, show the closeness and cooperation between
man and dog, and manifest a high level of hunting management. Hopefully they
will also become precious moments of enjoyment where carefully bred and
trained dogs will show all their virtues and inborn “wisdom” which will lead to
exciting experiences.
It is a special honour for me to greet all the competitors, judges, guests and
spectators. Wishing you all a pleasant time and sport luck - meaning the best
results, I hope you will all leave our country with the most pleasant and beautiful
memories from Croatia and hunting fields near Zadar.

Dear participants of this important cynological events,
čast mi je i zadovoljstvo što ste baš Zadar odabrali kao mjesto svog
susreta i što se možemo prezentirati kao domaćini vašim manifestacijama na
razini Europe i svijeta.
I am honored and pleased that you have chosen Zadar as the site of
your meeting and that we can represent ourself as your hosts of these events
which are held on European and world level.
Nadam se da će se Zadar svojom lokacijom, infrastrukturom i klimom
pokazati kao idealno mjesto za organizaciju ovakvih natjecanja.
I hope that Zadar with its location, infrastructure and climate will show
as an ideal place for organizing such events.
Želim vam uspješan rad i, takoer, dovoljno vremena da uživate u
našem gradu i njegovim ljepotama te da bar dio lijepih uspomena odnesete sa

Tereni zadarske regije već dulje vrijeme zauzimaju važno mjesto u
meunarodnom kalendaru ljubitelja ptičarskih pasmina. Ove godine imamo
proljetni Europski kup za kontinentalne ptičare, Svjetsko prvenstvo za
Njemačke kratkodlake ptičare I Svjetsko prvenstvo za Epanjel Bretone.
The fields of Zadar region for a long time have been a very important meeting
point in the international calendar to pointing dogs fans. This year we have the Spring
European Cup for Continental Pointers, the Spring World Championship for German
Shorthaired Pointers and World Championship for the Epagneul Breton.
Srdačni pozdravi svim članovima komisije FCI-a za kontinentalne
ptičare, za sve drage prijatelje, predsjednike I čelne ljude pasminskih klubova,
kolege suce iz raznih zemalja te članove Hrvatskog kinološkog saveza I
zadarskog kluba. Takoer državnim I regionalnim vlastima, novinarima a
posebice ljubiteljima pasmine, bilo kao gledateljima, bilo natjecateljima, koji
nerijetko dolaze iz udaljenih regija te obogaćuju utakmice svojim sudjelovanjem.
Posebne zahvale I pozdravi idu mom dragom prijatelju Dr.Velimiru Sruku koji
se uvijek trudi poboljšati stvari za svoju zemlju te gospodinu Branku Šari kao I
predsjedniku HKS-a Dr.Damiru Skoku.
Cordial greetings to the members of the FCI Commission for continental
pointers - all dear friends - to the presidents and executives of the breed clubs, the
colleague judges from different nationalities, the members of the Croatian Kennel Club
and Zadar Kennel Club, the national and regional authorities, members of specialized
press and especially to those great fans, some only spectators, other participants;
sometimes from very distant regions who with their variety of pointing dog breeds enrich
us while visiting us at our more important field trials. Very special greetings to my dear,
dear friend Dr. Velimir Sruk - always striving to improve things for his dear country and to
Dr. Damir Skok, President of the Croatian Kennel Club, and to Mr. Branko Sare.
Ove utakmice su uvijek uspješne zahvaljujući darežljivosti vlasnika
lovnih terena, brizi saveza I lokalnog kluba, kooperaciji pasminskih klubova
a posebice zbog suradnje malog ali vrlo pažljivo biranog zadarskog kruga
ljudi koji se zaista trude postići najbolje uvjete za održavanje ovih utakmica.
Oni dočekuju , savjetuju te paze na sve natjecatelje tokom njihovog boravka u
Zadru. Osim što su tereni I natjecanje odlični, Hrvatska je izvanredna zemlja,
smještaj je odličan, hrana očaravajuća, pejzaži su prekrasni, a povijest područja
toliko bogata da je uspjeh cijele ove priče zagarantiran.
These field trials are always successful thanks to the generosity of the holders
of the hunting areas in use, the care of the national and regional kennel clubs, the
cooperation of the national breed clubs and very especially to the collaboration of the
small but select group of friends in the region near Zadar who strive to obtain the best
conditions for these field trials, who welcome, advise and guide with generous hospitality
to all participants during their stay. Adding that the hunting fields and the game are
excellent, Croatia is a marvelous country, the accommodation is great, the gastronomy is
delightful, the landscapes are beautiful and the history of the area is so rich... the success
of our stay is guaranteed!
Dok prijateljstvo caruje meu natjecateljima, komunikacija izmeu
članova različitih izaslanstva će takoer biti uspješna , a sve to da zadržimo
kvalitetu naših aktivnosti vezanih za našu najveću strast – kontinentalne
ptičare.
While this friendship reigns among all participants, the communication between
members of the different delegations will be profitable, all helping us to maintain the
quality of our activities around this our great passion - the continental pointers.

Dragi meunarodni prijatelji njemačkih kratkodlakih ptičara!
Dear international friends of German shorthaired pointers!
Vrlo aktivan Hrvatski klub kratkodlakih ptičara sa svojim odličnim timom i
svjetski poznatim vodičima i sucima opet je preuzeo organizaciju proljetnog svjetskog
prvenstva njemačkih kratkodlakih ptičara. Svjetsko udruženje njemačkih kratkodlakih
ptičara srdačno se na tome zahvaljuje i želi toj priredbi puno uspjeha.
Već 11. i 12. ožujka 2006. godine sudjelovao sam po prvi puta kao novo izabrani
predsjednik Njemačkog kluba kratkodlakih ptičara na svjetskom prvenstvu u Hrvatskoj
i bio sam vrlo zadovoljan odličnim odnosima kod ispita pasa. U meuvremenu se
obitelj njemačkih kratkodlakih ptičara u svjetskom udruženju povećala, t.j. članice
svjetskog udruženja postale su grupe iz Velike Britanije kao i grupe iz Rumunjske
i Ukrajine. Svjetsko udruženje otvorilo se djelomično prema više grupa iste zemlje,
budući da predsjedništvo nije moglo odlučiti koja je nadležna organizacija te zemlje.
U svakom slučaju je potrebno da su odgovarajuće grupacije priznate od svoje FCInacionalne organizacije. Obitelj prijatelja kratkodlakih ptičara i nadalje je u snažnom
usponu. Dogovoreno je da se godišnje sjednice svjetskog udruženja održavaju prema
odgovarajućoj većini članica i to za vrijeme meunarodnog natjecanja kratkodlakih
ptičara i ispita uzgojne vrijednosti dr. Kleemann Njemačkog kluba kratkodlakih ptičara.
Za predsjednika je naravno ugodna obaveza posjećivati svjetska prvenstva, bez obzira
u kojoj zemlji se održavaju. U tom smislu, najljepša iskustva bila su mi iz Francuske,
Italije, Španjolske itd.
Tamošnji dobro organizirani ispiti su za prijatelje njemačkih kratkodlakih
ptičara uvijek užitak za oči. Dogovoreno je da se osnuje gremij iz tri zemlje članice
koji bi podržavao predsjedništvo njemačkih kratkodlakih ptičara pri organizaciji
meunarodnih proljetnih i jesenjih Field-Trialsa te rješavao i ostale poslove. To bi za
udrugu sigurno bilo obogaćenje koje bi doprinijelo povećanoj efektivnosti njemačkih
kratkodlakih ptičara u cijelom svijetu.
Želim ovoj priredbi vrlo pozitivan i uspješan tijek i drage volje ću prihvatiti
poziv Hrvatskog kluba njemačkih kratkodlakih ptičara da sudjelujem kao sudac.
Croatian club of shorthaired pointers is very actively with their excellent team
and world-famous handlers and judges took over once again the organization of the Spring
World Championship for German shorthaired pointers. World Association of German
shorthaired pointers is warmly thanking for it and wishing to the event a lot of success.
I participated already on 11th and 12th of March 2006 , for the first time as newly
elected president of the German club for shorthaired pointers, on World championship in
Croatia and I was very pleased with the excellent relations toward examinations of the
dogs. In the meantime, the “family” of German shorthaired pointers in World association
increased, the groups from Great Britain as well as groups from Romania and Ukraine
have become members. World Association opened itself partially to several groups of the
same country, since the presidency could not decide which is the main organization of that
country. In any case, it is necessary that groups are recognized by its own FCI-national
organization. Family of friends of shorthaired pointers is still growing fastly. It was agreed
that the annual sessions of the World Association were held in period most convenient
to all the members and this is during international competition of shorthaired pointers
and exam of breeding value dr.Kleemann of German club for shorthaired pointers. For the
president it is of course pleasant obligation to visit the world championships, no matter
in which country they are held. The most beautiful experiences I have from France, Italy,
Spain, etc.
Their local well-organized trials for German shorthaired pointers are
always a delight for the eyes. It was agreed to establish a body from three member
countries that will support the presidency of German shorthaired pointers in
organizing international spring and autumn Field Trials and will also handle other
duties. It would certainly be enrichment for the association that would contribute
to increased effectiveness of German shorthaired pointers in the whole world.
I wish to this event a very positive and successful course and I will gladly accept
the invitation of the Croatian club of German shorthaired pointers to participate as a judge.

Dear friends of German shorthaired pointers!
Prije šest godina u Zadru smo uspješno organizirali ovo natjecanje, te
nas je to motiviralo da prihvatimo organizaciju Svjetskog prvenstva u 2012
godini.
Želio bih zahvaliti Svjetskom savezu kratkodlakih njemačkih ptičara
i predsjedniku prof. Herbertu Lemmer na dodjeli organizacije ovog prvenstva.
Prije svega želimo svim natjecateljima i prijateljima njemačkih kratkodlakih
ptičara dobrodošlicu, sa željom da uživaju prateći rad ptičara koji će biti
prezentirni u lovištima.
Six years ago in Zadar, we have successfully organized this event, and it
motivated us to accept the organization of the World Championship in 2012. Ponosni smo što smo Vas doveli u staništa gdje je sačuvana prirodna
trčka, što daje posebnu draž ovoj kinološkoj manifestaciji, te se nadamo da će
time doći do izražaja sve kvalitete predvednih pasa.
We are proud to be able to bring you in fields where natural partridge is
preserved, which gives a special charm to this cynological event, and this will
hopefully contribute to express all the qualities of dogs that will participate in trials.
Želja nam je uz gostoprimstvo osigurati jednake uvjete svim
natjecateljima. Posebno zahvaljujemo Ministarstvu poljoprivrede, ministru
Tihomiru Jakovini, dipl ing na pokroviteljstvu, Hrvatskom kinološkom savezu,
predsjedniku Damiru Skoku dr.vet.med, Kinološkom društvu “Dalmatinski pas”Zadar , predsjedniku Branku Šari na pomoći u organizaciji kao i LD “Jarebica
“Nin i LD “Diana” bez kojih ne bi bilo moguće organizirati ovo svjetsko prventsvo.
Our goal is to provide hospitality in same conditions to all competitors.
In particular we thank the Ministry of Agriculture, Minister Tihomir Jakovina
dipl.ing on patronage, Croatian Kennel Club, Damir Skok President of CKC,
Kennel Club “Dalmatian dog” - Zadar, president Branko Šare for the help in the
organization and as well to LD “Partridge” Nin and LD “Diana” without which it
would not be possible to organize this world championship.
Nadamo se da će druženje svih prijatelja njemačkih kratkodlakih
ptičara kao i postigniti rezultati te prikazana kvaliteta rada doprinijeti još većoj
afirmaciji pasmine.
We hope that the gathering of friends of German shorthaired pointers,
achieved results and showed quality of work will contribute to even greater
recognition of the breed.
