The four events are merged together into a single conference, with a unified program and lectures, and one registration for them all. Dubrovnik, a traditional meeting place for the international cooperation offers an excellent and stimulating environment for the conference of high scientific merit which will attract participants from all over Europe. The venue of the conference, a 5 stars hotel Rixos Libertas, provides excellent facilities for the smooth presentation of the conference scientific content, as well as for the accompanying exhibition of vacuum equipment and pertinent publications. A world-renowned scientists will present plenary lectures, a number of internationally acknowledged researchers will be invited speakers, and much more oral and poster contributions will provide insight into the state-of-theart of science and technology in the fields powerfully affecting the way how we live and produce. This 'Pearl of the Adriatic' is situated in the southernmost part of Croatia. The conference will take place in hotel Rixos Libertas, 15 min walk to the old town. A number (about 50) of “hot topics” contributed papers will be selected for 20-minutes oral presentation. The official language of the conference is English. All contributed papers will be refereed by the International Programme Committee and some will be selected for oral presentation. Conference proceedings About 40 selected papers of the conference will be published as the PROCEEDINGS OF JVC-14 / EVC-12 / AMDVG-11 / CroSloVM-19. The proceedings will be published as a special (but consecutively numbered) issue of the journal VACUUM.
