Greek School 2014 -2015
Hello Parents,
Don’t worry, the summer is not over yet but we need
to start planning for the Greek School start in
September. Therefore, Greek School will begin again
for the 2014-15 school year on Saturday September
13th. Catechism classes will begin a week later on
September 20th. Next week I will send out another
email with more details and the calendars for
September and October.
As you all know, many families have come to Regina
from Greece. Some of those families have young
children that we would be more than happy to have in
our Greek School. If you know a family with children
between the ages of 3 to 11, give them my
information (306-581-9823) or let me know and I will
try to approach them.
Thank you and more updates to come soon,
Petros Aiginitis, Principal - Greek School

The first GOYA meeting of the year is on Sunday
September 7th at 3:00 p.m., in the Church Hall. All
youth ages 12 to 20 are welcomed to join us for our
first meeting of the new term!
St. Paul’s Greek Orthodox Youth Association is a ministry for all
Greek Orthodox youth ages 12 to 20. GOYA strives to form
bonds of fellowship between peers while solidifying our Orthodox
beliefs through a multitude of fantastic activities and events that
keep youth closely involved in our rich community.
GOYA participates in many activities including youth retreats,
gym nights, movie nights, making Labathes, wrapping Christmas
gifts, religion information sessions along with many other
exciting activities!
If you would like more information or for any questions please
do not hesitate to contact Michael Lang, at (306) 570-9735 or
[email protected]. If you or a family member is
interested in joining GOYA but unable to make our first meeting
please contact Michael.
Church Renovations
The renovations to our Church Hall are almost
complete. We have added an interior weeping tile
system and two sump pumps to prevent water from
seeping into the basement. We have replaced the
flooring with a new Luxury Vinyl Tile and new stair
treads will be installed shortly. We have added a
handicap accessible washroom and we have
completely renovated the two existing washrooms.
Due to unforeseen circumstances the completion of
the work has been delayed resulting in the Church
being unavailable for the month of August. We
apologize for the inconvenience. Within the next two
months we will paint the Hall, south entrance and
stairwells to give them a fresh look.
The cost of the renovation is $125,000.00. We thank
GOYA for their donation of $2,000 towards the
renovation project and welcome any and all donations.
