The production facilities have 22 twin-screw extruders (ICMA – COMAC - COPERION) with outputs from 30 to 3000 Kg/h. Production runs continuously in three shifts. The production facilities are in Cittadella, Tombolo (PD-Italy), Kutno (Poland) and Jundiaì (Brazil), warehouses in Cittadella, Tombolo, Isola Vicentina (VI-Italy) and Kutno. These laboratories can control rheological, mechanical, chemical and physical characteristics of polymers, according to ASTM and/or ISO standards. The instruments are checked and calibrated with fixed frequency. The laboratories release a certificate of analysis for each lot delivered to the customer. SIRMAX SPA has two owned trucks for the deliveries in the surroundings, while it employs professional transporters for out-of-the-region deliveries. SIRMAX SPA has two mechanical workshops with a warehouse for plant maintenance and spare parts. Quality and Environmental management Systems In 2000 SIRMAX SPA got the first certification of its Quality Management System with DNV. In 2010 the system switched to UNI EN ISO 9001:2008. This certificate (n° 05854) will expire in February 2012. Since 2003 SIRMAX SPA has adopted and certified an Environmental Management System with DNV, which is now compliant to UNI EN ISO 14001:2004 (n° 768). Moreover in September 2004 SIRMAX obtained the EMAS recognition (C.E. 761/2001). The ISO/TS 16949:2009 certificate has been obtained with DNV for Cittadella in 2010 and for Tombolo in 2012. Suppliers and Customers SIRMAX suppliers are the main petrochemicals and thermoplastic producers, such as Basell, Borealis, TVK, BASF, Bayer, Polimeri Europa, Atofina. The most important customers are manufacturing companies in the fields of household appliance, automotive, electrical, electronic and technical items. Relationship with the Customer Days between order and delivery: average 20, depending on the kind of product. For every customer Sirmax can reserve a safety stock in its warehouses, depending on the quantity delivered and the frequency of the orders. The product is delivered in 25 Kg bags, big bags, octabins or autosilos. Payment conditions are fixed in the quotation.
