DER/M... SCR - DER/M... REG. SCR
Questi multiswitch sono ideali per distribuire i segnali ricevuti
da un satellite, con o senza miscelazione dei segnali TV, a
più decoder indipendenti tra loro, collegati su uno stesso cavo.
Hanno 4 ingressi H-V-H-V (più l'eventuale ingresso TV per i
modelli TV-SAT) passanti ed una o due uscite derivate, ognuna
delle quali può servire fino a 4 decoder SAT, o 2 decoder STB PVR
(decoder SAT con possibilità di registrare), indipendenti tra loro.
Per la visione dei segnali satellitari occorre munirsi di decoder che
siano in grado di gestire il protocollo SCR (Satellite Channel Router).
I modelli della serie DER/M... SCR hanno guadagno fisso,
mentre i modelli della serie DER/M... REG. SCR hanno guadagno
variabile, selezionabile agendo sul jumper collocato sotto il coperchio
(vedi schema sul retro). I modelli con più uscite SCR, grazie
alla presenza di un jumper per ognuna di esse, consentono di
impostare i guadagni su ciascuna uscita in maniera indipendente.
Tutti i multiswitch lasciano passare, sulla polarità V/L,
l’alimentazione fornita dal decoder verso il LNB, ma, nel caso
in cui la corrente erogata non sia sufficiente per alimentarlo, è
necessario installare, sul cavo che collega l’uscita derivata del
multiswitch ed il decoder, un inseritore di tensione (art.15-500)
cui va collegato un alimentatore ausiliario (art.15-502).
I multiswitch SCR sono compatibili con tutti i multiswitch OFFEL.
These cascadable multiswitches allow to distribute signals
received by a satellite, with or without mixing of the TV signals,
to many independent decoders connected to the same cable.
They have 4 passing inputs H-V-H-V (and one more passing
input for the TV signals, only for TV-SAT models) and one or
two tap outputs to connect up to 4 independent decoders SAT,
or 2 independent decoders STB PVR (SAT decoders with video
recorder function), for each output.
If you want to receive satellite signals, you need a decoder that
supports the SCR (Satellite Channel Router) protocol management.
The models of the DER / M... SCR series have fixed gain, while
the models of the DER / M... REG. SCR series have adjustable
gain selectable by acting on the jumper located under the lid
(see scheme on reverse side). The models with multiple SCR
outputs, thanks to the presence of a jumper for each of them,
allow to set the gain on each unicable tap output independently.
All these multiswitches allow the decoder supply to pass to the
LNB on V/L connectors, but if the decoder delivered current
isn’t sufficient to supply LNB, connect an inserting device (item
15-500) and an auxiliary power supply unit (item 15-502) on the
coax cable between decoder and multiswitch.
SCR multiswitches are compatible with all OFFEL multiswitches.
ISTRUZIONI PER L’INSTALLAZIONE
INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
• Essendo un prodotto per interno, deve essere installato in un luogo
protetto dall’eventuale esposizione a stillicidio o spruzzi d’acqua.
Non deve essere installato sotto a serbatoi d’acqua o altri liquidi;
• collocare il multiswitch in un luogo idoneo;
• dopo avere installato la parabola ed averla puntata correttamente
con l’ausilio di un misuratore di campo per la massima qualità
dei segnali ricevibili, collegare i cavi delle quattro polarizzazioni
provenienti dal LNB H-V-H-V ai rispettivi ingressi del primo
multiswitch (per non commettere errori si consiglia di siglare
i cavi V/H - H/H - V/L - H/L);
• collegare le uscite passanti del multiswitch in cascata con
gli ingressi di quello successivo tramite cavo cassiale. E’
fondamentale per il funzionamento del prodotto rispettare i
collegamenti come riportato sulle etichette;
• le uscite passanti dell’ultimo multiswitch devono essere chiuse
con resistenze di chiusura isolate (tappo F isolato art.17-760);
• collegare il misuratore di campo1 ad ogni uscita derivata e
spostare il jumper collocato sotto il coperchio del multiswitch
nella posizione corrispondente al guadagno necessario;
• collegare le uscite derivate del multiswitch alle prese di
utenza tramite cavo coassiale;
• per ogni decoder collegato all’uscita derivata del multiswitch
impostare la modalità di ricezione SCR nell’apposito menù e
scegliere uno dei quattro canali a disposizione (vedi “Frequenze
di uscita SCR” di seguito riportate).

a safe place, far from water and splashes. Do not install it
under water reservoirs or similar;
• put the multiswitch in a fit place;
• after installing the satellite dish and heading it correctly thanks
to a field meter to obtain the maximum quality of signals,
connect the four polarizations cables of LNB H-V-H-V to
their respective inputs of the first multiswitch (to avoid mistakes
it is advisable to mark the cables V/H - H/H - V/L - H/L);
• connect the cascadable multiswitch pass through outputs to
the inputs of the next one using coaxial cables. For the perfect operating of the product, please respect the connections,
as reported on the labels;
• the pass through outputs of the last multiswitch have to be closed
by insulated resistances of closing (insulated F cap item 17-760);
• connect the field meter 1 to each tap output and move
the jumper located under multiswitch lid in the position
corresponding to the required gain;
• connect the tap outputs to the TV-SAT outlets using coaxial
cable;
• for each decoder connected to the multiswitch tap output,
select the SCR mode from Menu and choose one of the four
SCR channels (see “SCR output frequencies” below).
