Researcher
Research project on the policy for youth employment under the supervision of Prof. Michele
Tiraboschi.
The project that aims to examine the obstacles and opportunities affecting youth employment to
give an overview of the potential of the pubblic policies and measures related to youn transitions.
The research shows that the youth guarantee and the other national program can resolve this
situation and how is possible to answer to global challenge. In particoular the European
Program, Youth Guarantee, provides an unprecedented opportunity to enact progressive change
in Europe and in particular in Italy, that could improve the economic situation of young people,
as well as their well-being and level of social inclusion. The youth guarantee has enormous
potential, and this potential must be seized and embraced in order to bring about real change for
young people. Youth Guarantee program is designed to shorten the transition period to
employment and reduce prolonged absences from the labour market, education or training.
While the debate is now focused on enabling young people to move into the labour market, the
impact of this on other transitions to adulthood needs to be addressed. These goals are be
realized only to involve social partner and companies. are ready to play their part in this
challenge. The comparative analysis shows that the countries with quicker and more successful

school-to-work transitions are those where the apprenticeship is the ordinary way to realize the
placement and where the companies are used to interact with school. In Italy, the low uptake of
apprenticheship depends on a various tags, especially cultural. But the most innovative and
competitive countries use apprenticeship. With the aims to tell these stories we create a column
of Bollettino Adapt to give voice to succesull experience on apprenticeship as a leaver to talent
management.
