In Trento there is no airport. The nearest airport is located in Verona (Catullo aeroport) to 105
km from Trento. The Marco Polo Venice airport is located 220 km from Trento, while Orio al
Serio Bergamo airport is located 180 km from Trento.
Transportation from/to the Verona Airport
by Navetta/bus to Verona Station and then by train to Trento
“Verona Aeroporto” railway Verona Station. The service Navetta/Aerobus runs from 6.30 a.m. until 23.35
p.m. with 20 mins. average frequency. The journey to and from downtown takes 15 mins., single fare is
6.00 €. Tickets train are sold by Trenitalia at the ticket counters and vending machines located inside the
station, online and by authorized dealers.

General Information
Trento is the regional capital of Trentino. It counts about 116.00 inhabitants and hosts all major regional
government offices and the University.
The climate is cold in winter and hot in summer.

As a general rule, shops and offices open in the morning from 9.00 am to 12.30 and the afternoon from
15.30 to 19.00 pm.. Most of them close at lunch time and all day Sunday.
You may easily find banks (all day till Friday afternoon 4 pm) and ATM Machine. Shops and restaurants
accept credits cards and POS payments.
