Le prove si svolgeranno nello specchio d’acqua
antistante il litorale di Marina di Ravenna con il
seguente programma:
Venerdì 20 Giugno 2014
Ore 10.30 Skipper meeting; la presenza degli
allenatori è obbligatoria.
Venerdì 20 Giugno 2014 Regate di flotta
Ore: 12.30 Esposizione del Segnale di Avviso della
prima prova in programma, altre a seguire.
Sabato 21 Giugno 2014 Regate di flotta,come da
comunicato
Domenica 22 Giugno 2014
Regate di flotta e
regate a squadre, come da comunicato
L’orario del Segnale di Avviso della prima prova di
giornata per le giornate del 21 e 22 Giugno 2014
verrà comunicato mediante avviso all’Albo Ufficiale
dei Comunicati entro le ore 20.00 del giorno
precedente a quello in cui avranno effetto; in caso di
mancata comunicazione si riterrà confermato l’orario
stabilito per il giorno precedente.
Nelle giornate di regate di flotta sono previste 3 prove
al giorno sia per la Classe Juniores che per la Classe
Cadetti.
Nella giornata di Domenica 22 Giugno 2014 non sarà
esposto nessun Segnale di Avviso e/o di Attenzione
oltre le ore 18.00.

For races scheduled for the regatta second and third
day, the time of the first warning signal of the day will
be posted on the club house notice board by 20:00
hrs of the preceding day, in absence of such a notice
will be valid the time of the preceding day
During the fleet races 3 races are scheduled for
Juniores and for Cadetti for every regatta day.

On Sunday 22 June 2014, no Warning Signal will
be given after 18.00.
3-Regolamenti
Le regata saranno condotte secondo:
- le Regole così come definite dalle Regole di Regata
ISAF;
- la Normativa FIV per l’Attività Velico Sportiva in
Italia.
Aggiungere alla Regola 61.1 (a) "La barca
protestante dovrà informare il Comitato di Regata
circa l’identità della barca/e che intende protestare
immediatamente dopo l’arrivo."
- l’Appendice D delle RRS nello svolgimento della
regata a squadre.
3 - Rules
The regatta will be governed by the Rules as defined
in the RRS (Racing Rules for Sailing)
The Italian Federation rules for sailing.
Add to 61.1 (a) RSS:
The protesting boat shall notify the R.C. the sail
number of the protested boat/s as soon as possible
after her finish.

4 –Ammissione ed iscrizione
Sono ammessi i timonieri Juniores nati nel 19992000-2001-2002 ed i Cadetti nati nel 2003-20042005, secondo quanto stabilito dalla Normativa per
l’Attività Agonistica Federale in vigore.
I concorrenti dovranno essere in possesso della
Tessera FIV 2014 con vidimazione della visita
medica, dell'iscrizione alla Classe e copertura
assicurativa RC, con massimale non inferiore a €
1.000.000.I concorrenti di altra nazionalità dovranno essere in
regola con le prescrizioni, anche sanitarie, delle loro
rispettive Federazioni.
La tassa di iscrizione viene fissata in € 30,00 per ogni
partecipante, sia Juniores che Cadetto. L’iscrizione
deve essere perfezionata presso la Segreteria del
Circolo Organizzatore entro le ore 10 di Venerdì 20
Giugno 2014.
La Segreteria di Regata sarà aperta fin dalle ore
09.00 di Giovedì 19 Giugno 2014.
Le pre-iscrizioni dovranno pervenire alla
Segreteria del Circolo Velico Ravennate ASD
entro le ore 18.00 del data 16 Giugno 2014 via
questo link.
4 – Eligibility
The regatta will be open to all competitors who have
been born from 1999 to 2005. According to
Italian Law and FIV Regulations, competitors will be
classified as follow:
“Juniores” born from 1999 to 2002;
-“Cadetti” born in years 2003,2004,2005
-Italian sailors shall carry to the organising Authority
a current and valid 2014 F.I.V. membership card;
-Each sailor shall be current members of their
National Class Association (A.I.C.O. for Italian
sailors);
-All sailors shall have third party insurance cover of
not less than € 1.000.000,00 and are required to
produce evidence of such insurance during
registration;
Foreign sailors shall follow their MNA prescriptions,
sanitary too.
-All boats shall lodge a valid measurement certificate;
Entry fee is fixed in € 30,00
The entries shall be registered at the Regatta
Secretary no later than Friday June 20th10.00 hrs

The regatta secretary will open since Thursday 19
June 2014 09.00 a.m.
Eligible boats may enter by completing the on-line
Entry Form on the website at and Registration’s
completion and fee’s payment by Circolo Velico
Ravennate until June 16th 2014 18.00 a.m..

5 – Formula della manifestazione
a) Nelle giornate del 20 e 21 Giugno 2014 i
concorrenti regateranno in prove di flotta, se
del caso suddivisa in batterie, nella giornata
del 22 Giugno 2014 si svolgerà una regata a
squadre di circolo secondo il format che sarà
illustrato durante lo skipper&coaches meeting
di Venerdì 20 Giugno 2014 e specificato nel
punto b) di questo paragrafo.
b) Domenica 22 Giugno 2014 si svolgerà una
regata Team Racing per le squadre dei 4
circoli determinati dalla somma delle
posizioni in Classifica Generale ottenute dai
loro migliori 3 atleti Juniores e miglior atleta
Cadetto; in caso di parità si applicherà la
RRS A8. Alla regata a squadre possono
essere composte da atleti nati dal 1999 al
2003; due di questi potranno essere nati nel
2003.
c) Gli equipaggi non partecipanti alla regata a
squadre regateranno in un campo separato
su un percorso che sarà illustrato durante lo
skipper&coaches meeting di Venerdì 20
Giugno 2014.
d) Per i timonieri che parteciperanno alla regata
di flotta (Juniores e Cadetti) si avrà una
nuova classifica con premi a parte.
5 – Regatta format

a) On June 20th and June 21 2014 the
competitors will sail in a fleet races series,

eventually divided in groups, on June 22
2014 will take place a team race series with
the competitors selected as per the format
detailed
during
the
skippers/coaches
th
meeting of Friday 20 June 2014 and
esplained in the following point (b) of this
para.

b) On Sunday 22 June 2014 will take place
a Team Race Regatta for the 4 (four) Clubs
with the best scores sum of their three (3)
Juniores and one (1) Cadetti sailors, in case
of tie RRS A8 will apply.
As per the Italian Saling Federation
disposition may sail the team races
competitors born from 1999 to 2003; two of
those may be born on 2003.
c) The competitors not selected for team
races will sail in a separate area on a course
detailed on the skipper & coaches meeting of

Friday June 20 2014 .
d) For sailors partecipating the fleet race of

Sunday 22
June 2014 (Juniores and
Cadetti) will be made a new scoring list with
separated prizes.
6 –Percorso e punteggio
Regate di flotta.
Il percorso sarà definito nelle Istruzioni di Regata.
Sarà adottato il sistema di Punteggio Minimo (RRS
A4).
Fino a 3 prove valide effettuate non sarà concesso
nessuno scarto; dopo quattro prove valide effettuate
sarà concesso uno scarto.
La regata sarà considerata valida con qualunque
numero di prove effettuate.
Regata a squadre
Il percorso sarà definito nelle Istruzioni di Regata.
Sarà adottato il sistema di Punteggio definito
nell’Appendice D.
6– Courses and scoring
Fleet races
The course will be defined in S.I.
The Low Points Scoring System will be used, (RRS
A4).
When 3 races have been completed, a boat’s series
score will be the total of her race scores, after the
completion of four races a boat’s series score will be
the total of her race scores excluding her worst score.
The regatta will be considered valid with whatever
number of completed races.
Team races
The course will be defined in S.I.
The team races scoring system described in RRS
Appendix D will apply.
7 – Premi
Trofeo Festivela
Saranno premiati i primi 3 classificati nelle regate di
flotta del 20 e 21 Giugno 2014 per le seguenti
categorie:
- Juniores
- Cadetti
- Sarà inoltre premiata la prima femmina
Juniores e Cadetti
Regate a squadre
Il Trofeo Challenge Raul Gardini sarà assegnato al
Circolo velico partecipante vincitore della regata a
squadre.
Regate di flotta
La Coppa Festivela Juniores sarà assegnata al
Circolo velico partecipante con i migliori 4 timonieri
Juniores classificati nelle regate di Venerdì 20 e
Sabato 21 Giugno 2014.
La Coppa Festivela Cadetti sarà assegnata al Circolo
velico partecipante con i migliori 4 timonieri Cadetti
classificati nelle regate di Venerdì 20 e Sabato 21
Giugno 2014.
7- Prizes
Trofeo Festivela
Will be awarded the best tree (3) sailors partecipating

Preizes will be given to best scored female sailor of
Juniores and Cadetti groups.
Team races
The Challenge Raul GardiniTrophy will be awarded to
the Club winner of the team race round.

The Juniores Festivela Cup will be awarded to the
partecipating Club with the 4 (four) best scored

8 – Pubblicità
Come da Regole di Classe, non è ammessa
pubblicità sulle barche in eccesso a quella standard
prevista dalla Regulation ISAF 20.

Advertising is not permitted except as provided in Isaf
Regulation 20.
9 – Istruzioni di Regata
Saranno a disposizione dei concorrenti dalle ore
09.00 di Venerdì 20 Giugno 2014.

10 – Controlli di stazza
Non sono previsti controlli preventivi di stazza, ma
potranno essere effettuati controlli prima, durante o
dopo le regate su decisione insindacabile del CdR
10 – Measurements
Measurements are not scheduled, but spot checks
could be performed on equipment on a random basis
prior to, and during the regatta by R.C. final decision.
11 – Immagini e Media
Nel partecipare alla manifestazione, un concorrente
automaticamente concede all'Autorità Organizzatrice
ed agli sponsor, il diritto perpetuo all’uso ed alla
diffusione, a propria insindacabile discrezione e
senza nessun suo costo, di immagini, filmati e riprese
sonore di cose e persone, registrate o riprese in
qualunque modo effettuate durante lo svolgimento
della manifestazione.
11 – Rights to use names & likenesses
By entering the Regatta competitors accept that they
may be photographed and/or videotaped participating
in the race and/or using the Regatta facilities and
they consent to the taking of such images and to the
use, reuse, publication and republication of such
images in any media, in conjunction with the
competitors name or not, without compensation and
without the competitors approval of such images or
any use thereof.
12 – Accredito imbarcazioni degli
accompagnatori
Gli accompagnatori che fossero dotati di proprie
imbarcazioni appoggio dovranno registrarsi presso la
Segreteria di Regata all’atto dell’iscrizione.
Tali
imbarcazioni
saranno
autorizzate
alla
navigazione nell’area di regata solo in caso di
necessità, quali mezzi assistenza; dovranno aiutare
le imbarcazioni dell’organizzazione nelle operazioni di
sicurezza e prestare la massima assistenza a tutti i

12 – Support boats
Team leaders/coaches shall register themselves at
the race office, at completaion of the entry.
The registered support boats are authorized to sail
thru the course area only in case of need, as rescue
ribs and, if requested, they shall aid in safety
operations helping any sailor.
13 –Responsabilità
La decisione di partecipare alle prove spetterà a chi
esercita la patria potestà e/o accompagnatori dei
concorrenti, che, all’atto dell’iscrizione, dovranno
sottoscrivere il relativo documento di assunzione di
responsabilità, incluso nel modulo di iscrizione.
Il Comitato Organizzatore in proprio ed a nome del
Comitato di Regata e della Giuria declina ogni e
qualsiasi responsabilità che dovesse derivare per
danni a persone e/o cose in terra e/o in acqua in
conseguenza della partecipazione alle regate.
Si richiama l’attenzione sul disposto della Regola
Fondamentale 4 RRS.
13 –Liability
Competitors participate in the regatta entirely at their
own risk (See RRS 4 - Decision to Race) and their
responsible parent/guardian or coach, who shall sign
a special declaration at registration.
Neither the Organising Committe nor R.C. or Jury will
accept any liability for material damage or personal
injury or death sustained in conjunction with or prior
to, during or after the event.
