ITALIAN COURSE FOR IMMIGRANTS COURSE AIMS  Our free Italian Course is designed for adult immigrants wishing to approach our language and gradually increase their knowledge of it.  The development of communication skills, together with reading and writing activities, can offer help, in prospect, with integration in different contexts: social, cultural, professional. UNIVERSITÁ POPOLARE MESTRE Anno Accademico 2014 - 2015 CORSO GRATUITO DI ITALIANO PER STRANIERI As it is essential for learners to see the relevance of new language in their daily lives, the course provides varied teaching materials to meet the needs of different learners and learning styles. COURSE DETAILS Students: Adult immigrants Course Length: FIRST PART: 60 hours: 30 lessons (15 weeks) SECOND PART: 40 hours: 20 lessons (10 weeks) Timetable : 2 lessons per week, on Wednesday and Friday, from 4.00pm to 6.00pm Class Size: Maximum 10 students, Minimum 6 students Entry Level: Beginners Course Level: Beginners A1.1 to Elementary A1, based on the Common European Framework of Reference for Language learning and Teaching (CEF). See the section below: Basic User A1 Can understand and use familiar everyday expressions and very basic phrases aimed at the satisfaction of needs of a concrete type. Can introduce him/herself and others and can ask and answer questions about personal details such as where he/she lives, people he/she knows and things he/she has. Can interact in a simple way provided the other person talks slowly and clearly and is prepared to help. Favorire e sviluppare l’apprendimento della lingua italiana per comunicare e per consentire in prospettiva, una sempre più solida integrazione sociale, per esercitare il diritto di cittadinanza, per lo svolgimento di attività lavorative, per comprendere la cultura del paese ospitante. Possibilità di attivare un secondo corso di 40 ore a partire da Febbraio 2015 per completare il percorso A1.
