How to reach the venue:
Below some information on how to reach Villa Celimontana when arriving by air.
Rome is served by two airports: Leonardo da Vinci/Fiumicino and Ciampino.
Leonardo da Vinci Airport in Fiumicino is 30 km far from Rome city centre
You may take an official white taxi directly to the venue. The Rome City Council has fixed a flat fare of
40€ from the airport of Fiumicino to Rome city centre (up to four persons and inclusive of luggage).
Please confirm such fixed fare with the taxi driver before boarding the taxi (please note that taxis
registered in the city of Fiumicino are entitled to charge 60€). NB. see notice below about taxis.
There are also two trains possibilities from Fiumicino Airport to Rome and to the venue:

the no-stop train “Leonardo Express” (one-way ticket 14€) goes directly to the main
railway station Termini, and takes 30 minutes. From Termini you may then take a white
metered taxi to the venue for no more than 15/20€ (inclusive of luggage). Make sure
the meter is switched on. If you are travelling light you might hop on the Metro
(underground) B line up to Colosseo stop. From there you can walk for 900 mt and you
are arrived
Regional train (Orte-Fara Sabina direction Fara Sabina) stopping at Ostiense Station (30
min / one-way ticket 8€). A taxi rank is conveniently situated outside the Ostiense
station where you can take a white metered taxi to the venue for approx 10/12€
(inclusive of luggage). Make sure the meter is switched on.
Ciampino Airport is 15 km far from Rome city centre
You may take an official white taxi directly to the venue. The Rome City Council has fixed a flat fare of
30€ from the airport of Ciampino to Rome city centre (up to four persons and inclusive of luggage).
Please confirm such fixed fare with the taxi driver before boarding the taxi
You may also make your way by taking the COTRAL bus (one-way ticket 1,10€) to the Anagnina
Metro Line A (one-way ticket 1,50€)and get off at Termini. From Main Railway Station Termini a taxi
to the venue should not be more than 15/20€ (see notice about taxis).
Important notice about taxis
Use only the official white metered taxis with the meter switched on. The meter starts at 2.80 € (they cannot be on the road if
the meter doesn't work). There is no charge for one piece of luggage, thereafter there is a charge of 1.04 € for each additional
piece. Sunday, holiday and night supplements are included automatically in the meter tariff. If you are at all uncertain, we
suggest that you take note of the taxi number on the car door. It is a small number indicated under "Licenza Numero" Comune
di Roma.
