Descrizione italiano: La conferenza ha lo scopo di mettere in luce come la collaborazione, recentemente
avviata, tra le infrastrutture di ricerca attive nel settore dei beni culturali e i fornitori di infrastrutture
digitali possa rispondere alle sfide globali attraverso una maggiore integrazione di dati e l’apertura di nuove
metodologie di ricerca nel campo del patrimonio culturale e delle discipline umanistiche. La conferenza
offrirà una panoramica dei principali aspetti strategici, scientifici e organizzativi collegati allo sviluppo di
comunità virtuali di ricerca multidisciplinari.
Descrizione inglese: The International conference will focus on how e-Infrastructures and Research
Infrastructures, operating in the Cultural Heritage domain, are collaborating together to integrate the
existing different research data infrastructures, so as to allow researchers to use distributed data and new
and powerful technologies to enhance the research methodology in the field of exploitation and
conservation of cultural heritage.
