Curriculum breve di Enrica Bianchi
Enrica Bianchi: è ricercatore confermato (raggruppamento BIO14) presso il Dipartimento di
Scienze Medico Chirurgiche e Neuroscienze dell'Università di Siena dal 1982. La sua attività di
ricerca è rivolta alla Farmacologia Molecolare degli oppioidi ed ha contribuito a chiarire la funzione
degli oppioidi esogeni ed endogeni in relazione al dolore acuto e cronico come evidenziato dalle
pubblicazioni sull'argomento in riviste internazionali. Ha ricevuto finanziamenti MiUR (Italia) e
NIH(USA) per svolgere tali ricerche.
Svolge attività quale:
-membro del comitato editoriale delle riviste scientifiche Medical Science Monitor and
Neuroendocrinology Letters;
-revisore scientifico per Elsevier Publishing Group;
-socio fondatore della International Morphine Society;
-expertise di progetti di ricerca per il CNRF.
Ha esperienza in Farmacocinetica Preclinica e Clinica.

Attività didattica
Dall'inserimento in ruolo quale ricercatore ha insegnato all'interno del corso di Farmacologia della
Facoltà di Medicina dell'Università di Siena. Tiene attualmente il corso opzionale di
Farmacocinetica presso la Facoltà di Medicina dell'Università di Siena. Ha tenuto e tiene
attualmente una serie di seminari su “Role and function of endogenous neurotransmitters”
presso State University of New York, USA
