New Project Team to revolutionize Digital Flexo
Nuova Gidue’s headquarters near Florence was the stage for a meeting between 7 leading companies in the
Label and Narrow Web industry. On December 11 & 12 2013, experts of Nuova Gidue, UPM Raflatac, Adare,
Esko, Flint Group, Dupont and Apex Group of Companies gathered for a kick off meeting to run a project that
aim to create history.
The name of the project is “REVO, Digital Flexo Revolution”. This project is a team of companies that
partnered up to develop as the name reveals, a totally new way for flexo to compete in the market. The REVO
Project Team aim to provide an answer on behalf of the flexo industry to the increasing importance of digital
print, especially in label and narrow web packaging. The Project Team emphasizes to develop a ready-to-go
complete concept that will expand the possibilities for Flexo conveters. High quality print, increased efficiency,
higher productivity and improved sustainability become evident as well.
All partners bring special knowledge and dedicated products in their own specific fields of the flexo industry.
The final result will lead to a Plug & Play concept for printers and this will be launched during the GIDUE openhouse in May 2014.
Keep an eye on the media, more details will be revealed soon! For further information, you may contact the
individual partners, or check the website (soon to be launched): www.revo-digitalflexo.com)
