Red Wine - Telepan

An Introduction to the Telepan Restaurant Wine List
Welcome to our wine list, an offering of wines that we believe are worth the extra effort to seek
out and purchase. While the wines are primarily sourced from American, French and Italian
producers, we have included selections from other favorite regions around the globe.
Many of the wines represent boutique productions made by true artisans, whose intention is to
make balanced, food-worthy wines. These are wines that speak of their origins, and all of them
represent great value relative to their price.
Our cellar also represents a partnership of passions. The private collection that lends the
backbone and depth to our list is also influenced by the interests and personalities of our staff. We
cannot help but be swayed by the dedication and talent of the many winemakers that we meet!
There is a seasonal element to our wine list to better complement our food, and we promote the
concept of drinking and eating in season.
We are happy to provide advice and direction when tackling new regions or adventurous styles,
and we enjoy developing food and wine pairings for your menu. Feel encouraged to discover your
own preferences, and in participating in a wine program that will grow through the years to come.

Large Format
~ The ‘Once in a Lifetime’ experience - bottlings that make an impression
For those special occasions, there are few ways to create more drama than the arrival of a big bottle.
The simple image and presence of a Magnum heralds a spirit of gravity and joy all at once. But size
isn’t the only important factor. Wines are known to age more gracefully in larger formats, retaining
more freshness while developing the added complexities that age can provide. Winemakers also make
fewer large format bottles than demand usually supports, creating an even more dramatic exclusivity to
that moment. That moment when the wine flows prodigiously, and dinner becomes an event.
