予防接種
2016年1月1日から、家族手当の予防接種要件が変更になります。20歳未満の子どもに関する家
族手当を受けるためには、定められた予防接種をしておかなければなりません。
新要件が適用される家族手当の種類



Child Care Benefit
Child Care Rebate, and
Family Tax Benefit Part A supplement.
また、Grandparent Child Care Benefit、 Special Child Care Benefit、 Jobs, Education and Training
Child Care Fee Assistance を受けようとする場合にも同様となります。
どうして予防接種をしなければならないのでしょうか
子どもに予防接種をすることで、病気を防ぎ、健康を守ります。簡単で安全であり、効果がありま
す。
手当を受け取るためには何をすれば良いのでしょうか。
定められた予防接種を行っており、Australian Childhood Immunisation Register (Immunisation
Register)にその記録が残っていれば、何もすることはありません。子どもの Medicare 記録と
Immunisation Register が照合され、定められた予防接種が行われていることが確かめられます。
現在家族手当を受け取っている人で、以下のいずれかが該当する人には、こちらから連絡します
。
 定められた予防接種を行っていない人
 Immunisation Register によって予防接種の状況が確認できない人
予防接種の状況は、以下の手順で確認することができます。
 myGov で Medicare online account にアクセスする。myGov アカウントを持っていない場合
は、アカウントを作成して Medicare online account にリンクします。
 Express Plus Medicare モバイルアプリを使う。モバイルアプリをお持ちでない場合は、
App Store または Google Play™からお使いのモバイル機器にダウンロードできます。
2016 年 1 月 1 日以降、14 歳以上の人は自分で Medicare online account を作成して myGov から
アクセス、あるいは Express Plus Medicare モバイルアプリを使って自分の予防接種記録を入手
できるようになります。あるいは、1800 653 809 に電話して予防接種記録を請求することもできま
す。
医学的な理由から子どもに予防接種をすることができない人は、かかりつけの医師に相談する
必要があります。

Australian Childhood Immunisation Register
Australian Childhood Immunisation Register (Immunisation Register)は、親が子どもの予防接種
を遺漏なく行えるよう国内在住の子どもに対して行われた予防接種を記録しておく全国的制度で
す。
Medicareに登録されている子どもは自動的にImmunisation Registerに登録されます。
Medicareに登録されていない子どもでも、予防接種実施機関（かかりつけの医師など）が
Immunisation Registerに予防接種実施記録を送付することで、Immunisation Registerに登録され
ます。

Immunisation
From 1 January 2016, immunisation requirements for family payments are changing. To receive a
family payment for a child and young individuals under 20 years of age, you need to make sure
their immunisations are up to date.
What payments are affected?



Child Care Benefit
Child Care Rebate, and
Family Tax Benefit Part A supplement.
These changes will also affect customers who claim Grandparent Child Care Benefit, Special Child
Care Benefit or Jobs, Education and Training Child Care Fee Assistance.
Why immunise?
Immunisation will keep your children healthy and safe from harmful diseases. It is simple, safe and
effective.
What do you need to do?
If your child’s immunisations are up to date, and we can check immunisation details on the
Australian Childhood Immunisation Register (Immunisation Register), you do not need to do
anything. We will use your child's Medicare details to check with the Immunisation Register that
their immunisations are up to date.
If you currently receive a family payment, we will contact you before your payments are affected if:
 your child’s immunisations are not up to date, or
 we cannot check your child’s immunisation status with the Immunisation Register.
You can check your child’s immunisation history statement by using:
 your Medicare online account through myGov. If you do not have a myGov account, you
can create one and then link it to your Medicare online account, or
 the Express Plus Medicare mobile app. If you do not have the app, you can download it to
your mobile device from the App Store or Google Play™.
From 1 January 2016, young individuals 14 years of age or older will be able to access their
immunisation history statement by signing in or creating their own Medicare online account
through myGov or by using the Express Plus Medicare mobile app. Alternatively, their
immunisation history statement can be requested by calling 1800 653 809.
If there is a medical reason why your child cannot be vaccinated, you need to talk to your general
practitioner.

Australian Childhood Immunisation Register
The Australian Childhood Immunisation Register (Immunisation Register), is a national register
that records details of vaccinations given to children who live in Australia, helping parents make
sure that their children are fully immunised.
Children who are enrolled in Medicare are automatically included on the Immunisation Register.
Children who are not eligible to enrol in Medicare will be added to the Immunisation Register when
a vaccination provider (including a general practitioner) sends the details of a vaccination to the
Immunisation Register.
