I am writing you about an organization that I have the pleasure of affiliating with
entitled the Marcus Graham Project.
The Marcus Graham Project is a non-profit
network of diverse professionals who have purposed themselves in developing the
next generation of thought leadership within the advertising, media, and marketing
industry. I am incredibly excited about the progress that the organization has made
over the last few years and some of the accomplishments even within this year alone.
In 2011, they have received awards for their work, launched a new website, successfully
completed the third year of their summer training program and helped a number of
individuals find jobs in our highly competitive industry.
Moving into 2012, we hope that you will help the Marcus Graham Project through their
12 Days of Gifting Holiday Fundraising Campaign. Their goal within the next month is
to raise a minimum of $12,000 to support the program’s fundamental operations. Your
assistance can help us meet that goal. MGP seeks to close the 2011 year out strong, as
well as lay a strong foundation for the coming year.
Though we will begin promoting the campaign immediately, the core of the campaign
will be December 12th through December 23rd.
Each day we will encourage our
friends, family and colleagues to donate to our program, as well as helping to pass the
word to their connections.
Each day, we will promote a different reason why giving
back and paying it forward to our organization is important.
