Located on the gentle Prosecco Hills, Cison
was the small capital of Brandolini’s county from
1439 to 1797. When Venetian Republic fell through
Napoleon, the town followed the fate of all Veneto
region; after being under the sway first of France,
then of Austria and vice versa, it definitely became
Austrian, becoming part of Veneto Lombard
Kingdom.

It was founded in 1150 and enlarged between 1305 and 1335
by Cistercian Monks, who renewed the valley and created a wool

In Follina you can’t miss a visit to the oldest activity of the town. In
1795 Gaspare Paoletti founded one of the most important centers of
wool production in the most active town controlled by Venice
Republic. Lanificio Paoletti’s wool mill is now the only
manufacture of carded wool yarns and fabrics in the area, that
survived to the passage of time.
Revine Lago
The land of enchantful lakes
Hill territory located in Veneto Pre-Alps, it is famous
for its lakes of morainal origin.
The old town center takes back to the past with its
historical buildings: the church tower erected in
1612, the sanctuary of San Francesco da Paola of
1700 and the castle of Monte Frascone of Eighteenth
century, whose walls are even older.

You can enjoy a pleasant walk in the green area of Santa Maria,
along the shores of the two lakes, up to the Lido, a small and
characteristic beach located downhill the historical town center of
Lago. The lakes are part of a route named La Via dell’Acqua (The
Way of Water), a beautiful route along underground steams, caves,
small lakes and mountain perfumes.

The town of liberty
The town takes its name from Vittorio Emanuele II,
king of the two Venices. It is a national historical
monument, the symbol of the World War conclusion
on 4th November 1918.
Gold Medal for military valor thanks to its people’s
active participation to the struggle for Liberation,
nowadays it presents itself as an important industrial
and artisanal centre but it was entitled

Walking through the old streets of the town you can see the roots of
an ancient past that leaves its traces through the
Castello di San Martino, the Loggia del Cenedese, in which there is
the Museo della Battaglia and the Loggia Serravallese, rich in

It is the headquarters of a foundation dedicated to the Renaissance
painter Cima da Conegliano. This museum exhibits some
reproductions of his works and many finds of the pre-Roman epoch,

Treviso, also called “water city”, can be visited following the dense

In a stunning location between the hills, with its
medieval views and Renaissance architecture,
between 1800 and 1900 it attracted the famous stage

Following the ancient walls, dominated by the fortress, you can
note the medieval imprint of the town. On the higher hill, the
fortress is a massive building whose origins and purpose are not yet
clear. Being maybe a fort or a place of worship in the pre-Roman
epoch, in the Middle Ages it was the cornerstone of the town
defense system.

Since 1976, every second Sunday of each month (except on July
and August), there has been the antique market. Furniture, jewelry,

Native town of Antonio Canova
Town whose name derives from the combination of
poss and agno (= lamb), which means “pool of the
lamb”. In fact even today it is a place of
transhumance for herds grazing in the meadows near
the town center. The importance of Possagno is
strongly linked to the famous sculptor Antonio
Canova, whose works stands out among the green
the Canova Temple, an imposing neoclassical
building, that he projected inspired by the Pantheon.

Neoclassical building of 1830 projected and financed by
Antonio Canova, who wanted it as a parish church of his own
country. Through its architecture, the temple blends three parts
which can be considered as symbols of three ages of history:
Greek civilization, Roman culture and Christian greatness.
Inside you can find the Gipsoteca Canova, which was
enlarged by the architect Carlo Scarpa in 1957.

Jewel of the Sixteenth century architecture, which boasts some
magnificent frescoes by Paolo Veronese, it was built and designed

The history of the villa is closely tied to the Emo family. The
Palladio built the villa for the Venetian patrician Leonardo Emo,
who first in 1535 bought the fund of Fanzuolo from Andrea
Barbarigo, for a value of 80 fields in Treviso. So the Palladio built a

The Dolomites take their name from the French naturalist Deodat de Dolomieu who first
studied the particular rock type that predominates in the region, then named "dolomite“ in his honor.

Vicenza, Verona, Udine and Pordenone. In 2009 the Committee of Unesco has declared them
a World Heritage Site.
