When upgrading your enrollment station from MAES 4.x to MEMS 5.x, you will have to migrate the MAES database “server.mdb” to be compatible with MEMS database format. This procedure indicates how to migrate the database step by step. WARNING : do not forget to make a copy of your database before you start the migration. Then enter the path of the database you want to migrate or search for it using the button on the right of the Migration window. Click on “Submit” button. The migration procedure starts automatically. A message is displayed at the end of the operation. Exit the application. Your database is now compatible with MEMS format. Start each of MEMS applications (Enrollment Station, User Management, Group Management …) and check that all the data from the original database are available in the new one.
