What is
CIPD Flexible Learning+
and is it right for me?
CIPD Flexible Learning+ is an enhanced learning
experience, it gives you...
Access to the CIPD’s flexible learning materials that are at the ‘core’ of your CIPD
Flexible Learning+ programme. You can be confident that your learning materials
include the very latest thinking and insights in HR and L&D.
The CIPD Flexible Learning+ materials include:
Self-study Workbooks
Each subject comprises a series of
workbooks which are made up of
mini-chapters called work sessions.
Taking around an hour to complete,
work sessions are practical,
informative and easy to follow. They
guide you through how to apply
the knowledge in the textbooks,
address typical issues you’re likely to
meet at work, help you prepare for
assignments or exams, and link you
to other learning resources. And,
because they’re organised in bitesized chunks, you can fit them in
during a lunch hour, on the train or
bus or whenever you have free time.
Textbooks
You also receive a series of CIPD
textbooks to provide you with all
the background knowledge and
theory you need to complete the
qualification. Your workbooks are
cross-referenced to relevant sections
in your textbooks, so you don’t
waste valuable time trying to locate
the right information.
Unlike the majority of other programmes, these valuable resources
are included in the price.
6
Podcasts
The workbooks link to a range of
audio material based on current
hot topics and issues faced by HR
and L&D professionals like you.
They’re lively and interesting,
with contributions from leading
academics and practitioners, as well
as respected keynote speakers from
CIPD conferences. They’re a great way
to bring important subjects to life and
give you unique insights from senior
HR and L&D practitioners.
Complemented by an enhanced programme
brought to you by MOL that includes…
+ Exceptional support

*CIPD Level 7 Advanced qualifications are comparable to the Qualifications and Credit Framework (QCF)
Level 7 in England, comparable to European Qualifications Framework (EQF) Level 7. For Scotland and
Ireland, this is Level 11 and 9 respectively. They are equivalent to a postgraduate level qualification.
How does CIPD Flexible Learning+
help me achieve CIPD professional
membership?
One of the main reasons people do a
CIPD Level 7 Advanced qualification
is because they aspire to become a
Chartered member of the CIPD.
CIPD Flexible Learning+ not only
helps you achieve this qualification, its
practical and work-based focus enables
you to work towards gaining the
experience you need to actually achieve
this accolade.
Successful completion of the CIPD Level
7 Advanced Certificate or Diploma gives
you Associate membership (Assoc CIPD)
of the CIPD, which is the first level
of CIPD professional membership.
By completing the CIPD Level 7
Advanced Diploma in HR Management
or HR Development you also gain
the knowledge required to work
towards upgrading to CIPD Chartered
membership. With the right level of
experience you’ll be able to apply for
Chartered Member (Chartered MCIPD)
or Chartered Fellow (Chartered FCIPD).
Chartered membership demonstrates
you have the expertise needed to
plan and manage generalist or
specialist operations.
Combining your professional
knowledge, skill and insights with an
understanding of your organisation’s
context and structure, you can create
and deliver integrated HR and L&D
services and solutions that help to drive
your organisation forward.
Benefits of
professional membership
Gain a competitive edge
Professional membership and recognition benchmarked
against industry standards creates great opportunities to
further your career.
