The welding helmet TECHNO LCD 9-13 comply with EEC Directives 89/686 CEE. This conformity is established in
compliance with EN 175, EN 166 and EN 168.
H μάσκα αυτή είναι κατασκευασμένη συμφωνα με τις οδηγίες 89/686 CEE. Η συμβατότητα οφείλεται στη συμμόρφωση με τις
προδιαγραφές EN 175,EN 166 και ΕΝ 168.
The welding helmet is delivered ready for use. For your protection and to ensure that your TECHNO LCD 9-13 welding
helmet functions properly, read these instructions carefully and consult with a qualified instructor or prior to operation.
Η μάσκα παραδίδεται έτοιμη για χρήση. Για την ασφάλειά σας και για να επιβεβαιωθεί ότι η TECHNO LCD 9-13 λειτουργεί κανονικά
διαβάστε τις οδηγίες προσεκτικά και συμβουλευτείτε έναν ειδικό πριν τη χρησιμοποιήσετε.
BEFORE WELDING/ΠΡΙΝ ΣΥΓΚΟΛΛΗΣΕΤΕ
Check whether the front cover lens and the front frame are inserted and fixed in place. Use the correct level of protection
for your welding process. Please refer to the following chart to help your choise. (cf welding process board)
Βεβαιωθείτε ότι το προστατευτικό του φίλτρου και ο μπροστινός σκελετός είναι τοποθετημένος στη θέση του.Χρησιμοποιήστε την
αντίστοιχη σκουρότητα γυαλιού ανάλογα με τον παρακάτω πίνακα.

OPERATION/ΛΕΙΤΟΥΡΓΙΑ
The TECHNO LCD 9.13 auto-darkening welding helmet switches light to dark state when a welding arc is struck. The
auto-darkening welding helmet switches back to the light state when the arc stops.
Η μάσκα αυτόματης σκίασης TECHNO LCD 9.13 σκουραίνει όταν γίνει η έναυση του τόξου και επανέρχεται στην κατάσταση φωτεινής
όρασης όταν το τόξο σβήσει.
• Internal sensitivity potentiometer : setting of the sensitivity adjustment depends on :
- Light ambient : Without welding, turn the sensitivity setting toward «max”, then turn the sensitivity
setting toward «low» until filter lightens.
- Welding Process : high for low amperage TIG process. Medium range for most application.
• Internal delay potentiometer : Delay is designed for slower switching time to clear state to eliminate
remained bright rays.
The shade number can be set manually between Din 9 to 13. Select a shade number by the external knob.

SAFE PRACTICE/ΠΡΟΦΥΛΑΞΕΙΣ
The TECHNO LCD 9-13 welding helmet is suitable for use with virtually all welding processes except Oxy-Acetylene
welding, laser welding and gaz.
Η μάσκα TECHNO LCD 9-13 είναι κατάλληλη για όλες σχεδόν τις εργασίες συγκόλλησης εκτός οξυγόνου - ασετυλήνης, λέιζερ, ή με αέριο.
Standard protective plates must be installed on both the inside and outside surfaces of the module. Failure to use
protective plates may constitute a safety hazard or result in irreparable damage to the module.
Προστατευτικά γυαλιά του φίλτρου πρέπει να τοποθετούνται μέσα και έξω από αυτό.Αλλιώς μπορεί να προκύψει τραυματισμός ή
καταστροφή στη μάσκα.

MAINTENANCE/ΣΥΝΤΗΡΗΣΗ
Carefully inspect the TECHNO LCD 9-13 welding helmet. Cracked, pitted or scratched filter glass or cover plate reduces
vision and seriously reduces the level of protection. Such damaged components must be replaced immediately to avoid
risk of serious eye and face injuries. Clean the lens with a lint free tissue. Do not use solvent.
Εξετάστε προσεκτικά τη μάσκα TECHNO LCD 9-13 . Ρωγμές, γδαρσίματα, πιτσιλίσματα στα προστατευτικά ή στο φίλτρο μειώνουν
την ορατότητα και μειώνουν το βαθμό ασφάλειας . Εξαρτήματα με σημάδια καταστροφής πρέπει να αντικαθιστώνται άμεσαγια να
αποφεύγονατι τραυματισμοί στα μάτια και το πρόσωπο.Να καθαρίζετε τα προστατευτικά και το φίλτρο με κατάλληλα πανάκια που δεν
αφήνου χνούδι.Μη χρησιμποποιείτε διαλύτες.
Do not use any tools or other sharp objects to remove any components of filter or helmet. Doing so may damage filter or
helmet preventing proper function, possibly causing injury or cancellation of the warranty.
Μη χρησιμοποιείτε αιχμηρά εργαλεια ή αλλα αντικειμενα για να αφαιρέσετε το φίλτρο ή την εξαρτηση της κεφαλής. Υπάρχει κίνδυνος
καταστροφής του εξοπλισμού ή και τραυματισμού, ή και παύση ισχύος της εγγύησης.
WARNING/ΠΡΟΕΙΔΟΠΟΙΗΣΗ
The filter has 2 sensors and a solar cell. Be careful that the sensors are clean and not covered by dust or spatter.
Το φίλτρο εχει 2 αισθητήρες και ένα ηλιακό κύτταρο. Προσέχετε ώστε οι αισθητήρες να είναι καθαροί και να μην είναι καλυμένοι από
βρωμιές ή πιτσιλίσματα.
Use the welding helmet only for eye and face protection against harmful ultra violet and infrared radiation, sparks and
spatter from welding.
Nα χρησιμοποιείτε τη μάσκα μόνο για προστασία των ματιών και της κεφαλής έναντι της υπεριώδους και της υπέρυθρης ακτινοβολίας ,
έναντι σπινθήρων και πιτσιλισμάτων κατά τη συγκόλληση.
This product will not protect you against serious impact hazards such as, fragments of grinding wheels or abrasive discs,
stones, or other grinding tools, explosive devices or corrosive liquids... (non exhaustive list) Appropriate protection must
be used where these hazards exist.
Το προιόν αυτό δεν παρέχει προστασία έναντι σπασίματος του τροχού λείανσης , θραυσμάτων κατά το τρόχισμα , έκρηξης, οξειδωτικών
και καυστικών υγρών (καθώς και σε άλλες αντίστοιχες περιπτώσεις) . Σε τέτοιες περιπτώσεις πρέπει να χρησημοποιείται αντίστοιχος
εξοπλισμός προστασίας.
The hairband may cause allergies to sensitive people.

WARNING/ΠΡΟΕΙΔΟΠΟΙΗΣΗ
Filter does not work at all

Activate the solar cell by exposing the solar cell to the
sun light for 20 or 30 minutes – check the battery and
change it if necessary (low battery indicator)
Ενεργοποιήστε το φίλτρο εκθετοντάς το στον ήλιο για 20 έως
30 λεπτά - ελέγξτε την μπαταρία και αλλάξτε την εάν είναι
απαραίτητο ( ένδειξη χαμηλής μπαταρίας )
Filter stays dark after the weld arc is extinguished or
when no arc is present

Check sensors and clean if needed. Adjust sensivity knob
to the low position. If the welding place is extremely
light, it is recommended to reduce light level.
Ελέγξτε τους αισθητήρες και καθαρίστε τους εάν απαιτείται.
Ρυθμίστε το διακόπτη ευαισθησίας στην θέση χαμηλής . Εάν
ο χώρος της συγκόλλησης είναι πολύ φωτεινός ελατώστε το
φωτισμό.
Uncontrolled switching or flickering :
Filter darkens and then lightens while the welding arc is
present

Check arc sensors are not blocked from direct access to
the arc light.
Adjust sensivity knob to the high position

not harmful to the eyes. However for the maximum
comfortable working condition, try to keep the viewing
angle to the welding object to 90°.
Είναι φυσικό χαρακτηριστικό των φίλτρων υγρών κρυστάλλων.
Αυτό δεν είναι βλαπτικό για τους οφθαλμούς . Εντούτοις για πιο
απρόσκοπτη λειτουργία συνιστάται η γωνία όρασης να είναι 90ο
κάθετη προς τη συγκόλληση.
