Conoscendo l’argento e tutte le sue eccellenti proprietà,
ce se ne innamora: è così che la manutenzione diventa un
compromesso più che accettabile!
L’argento è un materiale facile da trattare e da mantenere: più
lo si usa, più diventa bello e vissuto. La posateria - esclusi i pezzi
composti anche da altri materiali tipo corno o altro - va usata
tutti i giorni, senza che ci si debba preoccupare di strisciarla, e
va lavata in lavastoviglie con detersivi poco aggressivi.
Per esaltare la bellezza dell’argento è sufficiente asciugare bene
gli oggetti con un panno morbido dopo il lavaggio.
Consigli preziosi: quando l’argento viene a contatto con sale,
limone e parmigiano oppure aceto, deve essere pulito con acqua
corrente ed asciugato completamente. Candelieri e candelabri
non vanno puliti con il liquido, a causa delle molte saldature
e cavità interne. Meglio il panno. Per mantenere splendidi
gli argenti è consigliabile riporli nelle custodie antiossidanti,
e conservarli in luogo asciutto. L’acqua dura e calcarea può
causare il formarsi delle macchie sulle superfici. Si raccomanda
di sciacquare bene ed asciugare molto bene gli oggetti, durante
le operazioni di pulizia. L’uso quotidiano fa bene all’argento
perché ne rallenta l’ossidazione. Per una pulizia accurata ed
approfondita si consiglia di utilizzare saltuariamente anche
prodotti detergenti ad immersione come DIXSILVER, prodotto
specifico del Gruppo Greggio. Ha una caratteristica davvero
unica: quella di potere essere riciclato per parecchie e differite
manutenzioni. L’azienda offre anche altri prodotti di pulizia a
marchio proprio, come la crema, il panno antiossidante e i guanti
antiossidanti, che rimuovono velocemente l’ingiallimento perché
già imbevuti di sostanza detergente e lucidante.
