con Mercanti d’autore, i mercatini serali che
si svolgeranno in via Dancalia (giovedì 3
luglio e domenica 24 agosto, ore 21.00) e saranno
dedicati all’artigianato autoprodotto, agli hobby
e alle passioni, con produzioni originali rigorosamente fatte a mano. Artisti e artigiani provenienti
da diverse zone del Veneto, esporranno le loro
creazioni spaziando dalla bijotteria alla lavora-
zione dei tessuti naturali, dalla carta al riciclo di
materiali, ma anche ceramiche, oggetti in legno,
lampade, cucito artistico e ricami, oggetti in fimo
e pasta di sale e … chi più ne ha più ne metta.
Atteso anche il mercatino Le erbe, le piante i
fiori e altre meraviglie (giovedì 10 luglio, in via
Dancalia dalle ore 17.30), dove all’artigianato si
alterneranno piante, bonsai ed essenze.

Il mercato Veneto a Tavola si propone con due
appuntamenti in programma in via Dancalia
giovedì 17 luglio e giovedì 7 agosto (entrambe le
serate cominciano alle 19.00). Si tratta di un’esposizione nata per valorizzare i sapori, le tradizioni
e le tipicità del territorio veneto con una proposta
studiata per esaltare le eccellenze agroalimentari,
il patrimonio culturale, il divertimento e l’intrattenimento che caratterizzano questa regione. Gli
stand di Veneto a Tavola ricreano l’atmosfera
di questa terra, presentano i prodotti tipici che
possono essere degustati e acquistati.

Evenings in the via Dancalia area enlivened by a packed calendar of markets of
all kinds. During summer there will be regular dates of various types: artists and
artisans from different areas of Veneto will display their creations, including costume jewellery, natural fabrics, paper, recycled materials, ceramics, wooden objects,
lamps, artistic embroidery, sewing and salt dough objects. The Veneto a Tavola market also has two dates on Thursday 17th July and Thursday 7th August (both evenings
start at 7 pm). This is a market that focuses on the flavours, traditions and typical
products of the Veneto area, with items deigned to exalt the excellent food and produce, the cultural heritage of the region.

The show is the highlight of summer and is planned on the beach for the night of Ferragosto. It is a completely new event where, as if by magic, the water comes to life, awakens and is filled with light and colours, as it gushes and dances to music of all kinds,

turning and weaving and inspiring thousands of emotions that will leave spectators
breathless. This truly unique spectacle is non-polluting and respects the natural environment of Eraclea Mare, especially its pine forest, which transmits vitality, strength,
warmth and energy. The dancing fountains are a great event for all ages, which will
amaze children, but also draw adults into their vortex of sound, light and colour.

unedì 14 luglio, dalle 20.30, piazzetta Dancalia e piazzetta Marinella
saranno teatro di una nuova forma di street art, lo Yarn Bombing,
ovvero una formula innovativa di arte di strada educata e gentile, non
invasiva, che non si realizza con bombolette o marker bensì con fili di lana
e uncinetti! Un gruppo di giovani artigiane si cimenterà nella trasformazione artistica di panchine, pali della luce, elementi di arredo urbano per
dare colore alla città, ricoprendola di lane dalle tinte sgargianti, intrecciate e
lavorate all’uncinetto. Una forma artistica che sta uscendo dalle metropoli
per approdare anche da noi, e che ha come scopo quello di rivestire la città
di colore, colore, colore e ancora colore, ma anche quello di far rivivere
un’arte tradizione antica, coniugando così tradizione e innovazione. Durante la serata il pubblico, grandi e piccini, sarà coinvolto nelle lavorazioni
artigianali e nel rivestimento dell’arredo urbano.

On Monday 14th July at 8.30 pm, piazzetta Dancalia
and piazzetta Marinella will be the scene of a new kind
of street art: Yarn Bombing, an innovative street art that
is gentile, calm and non invasive. It doesn’t need spray
cans or markers, just wool and crochet hooks! A group
of young artists will transform benches, lampposts and
urban decor, to bring colour to the town, by covering it
in brightly coloured wool that is woven and crocheted.
During the evening the public will be involved in the arts
and crafts and in covering the urban decor.

Am Montag, 14. Juli verwandeln sich um 20.30 Uhr die
Piazzetta Dancalia und die Piazzetta Marinella in eine
Bühne einer neuen Form von Street Art, genannt Yarn
Bombing, nämlich eine innovative Form von höflicher, freundlicher und nicht invasiver Straßenkunst,
die nicht mit Sprühdosen oder Markern, sondern mit
Wollfäden und Häkelnadel gestaltet wird! Eine Gruppe
junger Künstlerinnen widmet sich der künstlerischen
Veränderung von Sitzbänken, Lichtmasten und Stadtmöbeln, um der Stadt Farbe zu verleihen und bedeckt
sie dabei mit zusammengeknüpften Häkelarbeiten aus
Wolle in knalligen Farben. Während des Abends wird
das Publikum in die Handarbeit eingeführt und ist
aktiv am Einhäkeln der Stadtelemente beteiligt.

nche quest’anno il Carnevale di Eraclea
vivrà una speciale parentesi estiva, portando lungo via Dancalia la tradizionale
sfilata di carri mascherati, con annessa buona
dose di energia, vitalità, musica e allegria. Appuntamento fissato per la sera di sabato 12 luglio.
I carri allegorici di questa parata estiva sotto le
stelle saranno gli stessi che lo scorso inverno
hanno proposto al pubblico una grande varietà
di soggetti goliardici, richiamando sul litorale
circa 4000 persone da tutta la provincia. Non ci
saranno, dunque, solo i carri di Eraclea, ma anche
quelli delle varie frazioni e dei Comuni vicini,
come San Stino di Livenza, Caorle, Jesolo e molti
altri ancora. “La manifestazione – spiegano gli
organizzatori – è tra le più attese della stagione,
perché consente di rituffarsi nell’atmosfera scanzonata del Carnevale anche in piena estate”.

Once again this year, on the evening of Saturday 12th
July, the Eraclea Carnival will experience a special Summer event, with the traditional parade of masked floats
along via Dancalia – the same floats that last winter offered the public a large variety of outrageous characters
and attracted around 4000 people on the coastline. There
will not only be floats from Eraclea, but also from nearby hamlets and municipalities, like San Stino di Livenza,
Caorle, Jesolo and many others.
Auch dieses Jahr erlebt der Karneval von Eraclea am
Samstagabend des 12. Juli eine Sommerversion und

Summer Time anche questo importante appuntamento, Scrutando le stelle, fissato per venerdì 1
agosto alle 21.30 (arenile accesso via dei Lecci). A
pochi metri dalla spiaggia e dalla storica pineta un
gruppo di astronomi, dotati di potenti telescopi,
introdurrà il pubblico in una dimensione così
lontana eppure così vicina, quella del cielo stellato, aprendo nuovi orizzonti in modo semplice e
comprensibile a tutti.

miscela di invenzione e tradizione, una storia d’amore che prende
vita tra i vigneti e diventa occasione per addentrarsi in quella che
oggi è considerata una vera cultura, l’espressione di un mondo che
sa ancora dare amore, cura, passione, rispetto per le cose della terra.
Il secondo appuntamento è fissato per giovedì 14 agosto (ore 21.00,
piazzetta Plaza), quando sarà protagonista il teatro veneto. Storie de
casa nostra è un viaggio dentro le proprie radici, in un mondo che
in gran parte è scomparso o sta per scomparire, un ripensamento
a quei vecchi valori che il nostro ritmo frenetico ci fa dimenticare.
Una ricerca letteraria accompagnata dalla riscoperta della musica
della nostra terra. L’Associazione Teatro dei Pazzi è un importante
punto di riferimento culturale in Italia; una sorta di officina artistica

Veneto theatre where you can relive the traditions and
music of this area. The Teatro dei Pazzi Association is an
important cultural reference point for Italy: an artistic
workshop that has produced theatre-based activity for the
past 10 years. It is deeply rooted in popular theatre and
has reinvented the Commedia dell’Arte with a genial touch, bringing it up to date with surprising cross-references
and creating a style that is now completely unique.

Uhr, Piazzetta Plaza) mit “Storie de casa nostra”, eine
venetische Theateraufführung, die Ihnen die – auch musikalischen – Traditionen dieses Landes näher bringt.
Die Vereinigung Teatro dei Pazzi ist ein wichtiger kultureller Bezugspunkt Italiens, eine Art Kunstwerkstatt,
die seit zehn Jahren mit der Produktion von Aktivitäten
rund um das Theater beschäftigt ist. Die als Volkstheater
entstandene Theatergruppe interpretierte die Commedia
dell’Arte auf geniale Weise ganz neu, verschmolz sie mit
Elementen verschiedenster Gattungen und kreierte so einen heute wirklich unverwechselbaren Stil.

il Nord Italia che si affronteranno in 8 gironi
composti da 5 team. Le migliori squadre di ogni
girone formeranno il tabellone della fase finale.
Nel pomeriggio, via libera alle sfide con gara dei
tre punti, delle schiacciate e lucky shot. A tutti i
partecipanti verrà assegnata la divisa ufficiale e la
possibilità di godere di una serie di consumazioni
gratuite. Primo premio: 1.000 euro.

tournament in the Veneto region that traditionally ends
around aperitif time at 5 pm, with a packed buffet, lots
of music and fun. The programme includes 40 teams
from all over the North of Italy, which will compete in
8 rounds of 5 teams. The best teams from each round
will make up the group for the final phase. The challenge
will begin in the afternoon with 3-point matches, slam
dunks and lucky shots. All participants will be given an
official uniform and the chance to enjoy free drinks.

Summer at the Miramare is more exciting! Every Tuesday afternoon in July and
August, it is time for fun and keeping in shape to the rhythms of Zumba on the seafront
terrace. Led by the enthusiastic Alejandro, from 5.30- 6.30 pm you can go crazy to
the sound of the music … and to refresh yourself after all this exercise, Marina and
Roberta offer a mojito party! At Ferragosto, they celebrate the loveliest day of summer
with an evening on which music will play a leading role: from 4 pm to late evening,
on the terrace, with free watermelon and a DJ set.

Zumba-Rhythmen zu amüsieren und fit zu halten.
Angeführt von Alejandros Begeisterung kann man von
17.30 bis 18.30 bei heißer Musik so richtig reinpowern
und als Erfrischung nach dem Training bieten Marina
und Roberta die Mojito Party! Am Ferragosto-Tag (15.
August) wird dann mit einem Abend ganz im Zeichen
von Musik der schönste Tag des Sommers gefeiert: Von 16
Uhr bis spät abends wird zur großen Melonenparty mit
DJ-Set auf die Terrasse eingeladen.

nota come “perla verde” della costiera
adriatica. Quando si parla dei caratteri
distintivi di Eraclea Mare, infatti, soffermarsi sulla Pineta risulta doveroso. Si tratta di
un vero gioiello, collegato direttamente con la
spiaggia, che offre l’opportunità per una passeggiata rilassante alla scoperta delle bellezze di
una natura rigogliosa offrendo anche riparo dalla
calura dell’estate. La Pineta di Eraclea Mare si
apre su itinerari da percorrere a piedi ma anche in
bicicletta che passano attraverso oltre 3mila pini
adulti a ombrello aperto (pinus pinea) e conducono direttamente al mare. Un’oasi verde che
identifica Eraclea Mare come una tra le migliori
mete naturalistiche italiane.
IL pAeSAGGIO FLuVIALe
L’
elemento fluviale ha un ruolo molto
importante nella definizione degli spazi
idrogeologici di Eraclea Mare, così come
del paesaggio che assume toni e colori di grande
fascino per unicità e bellezza. L’argine del canale
Revedoli, che scorre a poco meno di 2 km dall’abitato di Eraclea Mare e unisce le foci del fiume
Piave e del fiume Livenza, può essere raggiunto
dal centro città seguendo una stradina di ghiaia
che conduce ad una vecchia casa abbandonata.
Siamo arrivati alla Valle Ossi, così chiamata perché di proprietà di una famiglia di patrizi veneziani – anche se una leggenda vuole che il nome
derivi da un fantomatico ritrovamento di ossa
umane – ed è proprio qui che il canale Revedoli
confluisce nel Piave. Dalla parte opposta, invece,
il Revedoli porta ad un ponte di barche che collega a Cortellazzo fino alla foce del Piave.

If we’re talking about the distinctive natural features of
Eraclea Mare we have to mention the pine forest and
the river landscape. The pine forest has routes that you
can follow on foot or by bike through over 3000 adult
pines that lead straight to the sea. It is a green oasis that
gives Eraclea Mare the name of the “green pearl” of the
Adriatic coast. The river plays a very important role in
shaping the hydrogeological spaces of Eraclea Mare, but
also the landscape, which takes on colours and shades
of unique charm and beauty. The bank of the Revedoli
canal, which runs just 2 km from the town of Eraclea
Mare, unites the mouths of the Piave river and the Livenza river and can be reached on foot down a very
suggestive little gravel road.

des Piave und der Livenza und kann auch zu Fuß entlang eines eindrucksvollen Kiesweges erreicht werden.

Wenn man von den charakteristischen Merkmalen der
Natur von Eraclea Mare spricht, sind vor allem der Pinienhain und die Flusslandschaft unbedingt zu erwähnen. Durch den Pinienhain verlaufen mehrere Wege, die

n seguito ad una piena eccezionale e molto
particolare, nel 1935 il fiume Piave ruppe il
suo argine abbandonando il vecchio alveo che
si occlude con riporti di sabbia e fango, perdendo
ogni immissario di acqua dolce e anzi colmandosi
dalla marea di reflusso di acqua salata. Nasceva
la Laguna del Mort che definiva il confine tra
Eraclea Mare e Jesolo, diventando paesaggio
naturalistico bellissimo che, anno dopo anno, si è
popolato di centinaia di uccelli marini e lagunari
che qui trovano il loro habitat naturale. Oggi
l’accesso via terra alla Laguna del Mort, sia a
piedi che in bicicletta, è possibile solo da Eraclea
Mare percorrendo un lungo sentiero sterrato e
ombreggiato dalla folta Pineta per arrivare alla
scoperta di una superficie di 125 ettari circa con
dune costiere e dossi, popolata da una fauna ed
una flora tipiche delle zone umide rivierasche.
Nel 2003, la penisola che separa la Laguna del
Mort dal mare, unitamente al suo arenile, è stata
dichiarata da Legambiente tra le 11 più belle
spiagge d’Italia: inoltre, unitamente alla pineta di
Eraclea Mare, è stata insignita del titolo di Sito di
Interesse Comunitario.

THe LAGOOn DeL MORT
Access via land to the Lagoon del Mort, both on foot and
by bike, is only possible from Eraclea Mare by following
a long, shady unpaved road through the verdant pine
forest to discover a surface area of around 125 hectares, make up of coastal dunes and ridges populated by
the typical fauna and flora of the wetlands. In 2003,
the Lagoon del Mort, together with its beach area, was
declared one of the 11 most beautiful beaches in Italy
by Legambiente and awarded the title of Site of Community Importance.

Der Zugang über den Landweg zur Laguna del Mort ist
sowohl zu Fuß als auch mit dem Fahrrad nur von Eraclea Mare aus möglich. Der Weg führt über eine unasphaltierte Strecke im Schatten des dichten Pinienhains
zu einem ca. 125-Hektar-großen Bereich mit Küstendünen und Hügeln, in der die typische Fauna und Flora
der Küstenfeuchtgebiete anzutreffen ist. Im Jahr 2003
wurde die Laguna del Mort gemeinsam mit ihrem
Strand von Legambiente zu einem der 11 schönsten
Strände Italiens ernannt und als Gebiet mit gemeinschaftlicher Bedeutung ausgezeichnet.

L
a Litoranea Veneta è una via d’acqua
interna che collega una fitta rete di
fiumi e canali parallela alla costa del
mare Adriatico. Vere e proprie arterie, una
sorta di antiche autostrade, attraverso le
quali un tempo si snodavano i traffici commerciali della Serenissima. Dalle darsene di
Eraclea Mare, Torre di Fine e Brian partono
gli itinerari della navigazione da diporto, offrendo così spunti molto interessanti sia dal
punto di vista ambientale-paesaggistico che
storico-artistico. Nel territorio di Eraclea le
Porte del canale Revedoli (ora disattivate)
segnavano la prosecuzione della Litoranea Veneta verso est, passando nel canale
Largon. Il Largon, attraverso Valle Altanea,
sfocia nel canale Commessura e quindi nel
Livenza. Risalendo il Livenza si può arrivare
fino a Motta di Livenza e proseguendo lungo i fiumi Meduna e Noncello si possono
raggiungere Portobuffolè e Pordenone.

The Litoranea Veneta is an internal waterway that links
a tightly packed network of rivers and canals parallel to
the coast of the Adriatic Sea. From the docks of Eraclea
Mare, Torre di Fine and Brian, there are pleasure boating itineraries full of very interesting environments
and landscapes, art and history. In the Eraclea area, the
locks of the Revedoli canal (now disused) signalled the
continuation of the Veneto Waterway towards the East,
passing through the Largon Canal. The Largon flowed
through the Altanea Valley, into the Commessura Canal
and then into the Livenza. Sailing back along the Livenza you can travel to Motta di Livenza and continue
along the Meduna and Noncello Rivers to reach Portobuffolè and Pordenone.

a storia di Eraclea è strettamente
legata alla grande Bonifica. A partire
dal toponimo stesso che da Grisolera
– luogo in cui si lavorava la canna di palude
per costruire le arelle – diventò Eraclea, italianizzazione del più nobile Heraclia. Fino
alla seconda metà del 1800, infatti, oltre il
70% del territorio eracleense era sommerso
dall’acqua e solo verso la fine del secolo
ci furono i primi tentativi di prosciugare
le paludi, che proseguirono più decisi al
termine della Grande Guerra. I protagonisti
di quest’opera ciclopica furono i badilanti, eroi della redenzione delle terre dalle
malsane paludi malariche. Oggi la campagna
di Eraclea offre itinerari che conducono
alla scoperta di vasti orizzonti, tra distese
di fertili colture e idrovore monumentali,
permettendo di osservare tutta la bellezza
del nuovo volto impresso al paesaggio: un
quadro ordinato e lineare, punteggiato da
tanti scenari diversi, tra mille colori e profumi suggestivi.
The history of Eraclea in the last century is closely linked
to the great land reclamation, because until the end of
the 19th century over 70% of the area was submerged by
water. Today the Eraclea countryside offers itineraries that
lead to the discovery of vast horizons, with fertile fields and
monumental water pumps, which allow you to observe all
the beauty of this new face of the landscape: a neat, linear
outline dotted with lots of atmospheric scenery.

nature, located between the oasis of the Lagoon del Mort

l territorio di Eraclea Mare regala infinite
suggestioni ed emozioni agli appassionati di
ciclismo. I percorsi sono tantissimi e si immergono in splendidi scenari paesaggistici e naturali,
alla scoperta della flora e della fauna locali. Le piste ciclabili e le strade sterrate conducono lungo
la costa, fino a raggiungere Caorle in una direzione e arrivando fino a Jesolo e Cavallino Treporti
nell’altra, ma procedono anche verso l’entroterra
snodandosi in stradine di campagna e spingendosi verso San Donà di Piave. Particolarmente
affascinante è il tragitto lungo il Piave, risalendo

exciting for those who love cycling. There are lots of routes immersed in splendid landscapes and nature, where
you can discover local flora and fauna. Cycle paths and
unpaved roads lead along the coast to Caorle in one
direction and Jesolo and Cavallino Treporti in the other,
but they also lead to the inland area on little country
roads, as far as San Donà di Piave. There is a particularly attractive route along the Piave, towards the source
of the river. And don’t forget the special beauty of the

Straßen führen an der Küste entlang bis nach Caorle

in Richtung San Donà di Piave. Besonders faszinierend

lassen darf man auch die atemberaubende Landschaft
der Laguna del Mort, die es unbedingt zu entdecken gilt.

in sella ad un cavallo. Il circolo ippico in
via Dancalia, 136 è stato uno dei primi maneggi
ad aprire in provincia di Venezia ed è oggi gestito
dall’associazione sportiva Equitrek, affiliata alla
FITETREC ANTE (Federazione Italiana Turi-
smo Equestre e TREC). Principianti e cavalieri
esperti potranno dedicare le loro vacanze a lezioni e passeggiate in pineta, nella laguna del Mort
e nei sentieri di campagna. Il circolo organizza
anche trekking a cavallo di uno o più giorni, per
esaltare lo slow tourism in sella e le peculiarità del

You can also enjoy the nature of Eraclea Mare from a
very unusual viewpoint: on horseback. The riding club
at 136 via Dancalia was one of the first riding stables
to open in the province of Venice and is today run by
the Equitrek Sports Association, affiliated with FITETREC
ANTE (The Italian Equestrian Tourism Federation and
TREC). Beginners and expert riders can spend their ho-
lidays having riding lessons and enjoying rides in the

l litorale di Eraclea Mare e il suo entroterra,
in larga parte ancora incontaminato, fanno
da scenografia a innumerevoli itinerari, molti
dei quali facilmente affrontabili a piedi o, perché
no, con la tecnica del nordic walking. Altrimenti
nota come “camminata con i bastoncini”, questa
disciplina ha riscosso molto successo negli ultimi
anni a Eraclea e dintorni grazie anche alle attività
organizzate periodicamente, estate compresa,
dall’Associazione Ambiente e Salute onlus.
Il bello di queste passeggiate è che si riesce a
unire l’osservazione della natura con una sana attività fisica come il nordic walking che – proprio
grazie all’uso dei bastoncini – permette di coinvolgere il maggior numero possibile di muscoli e,
di conseguenza, aumentare il dispendio energetico a parità di velocità e di distanza percorsa. Per

rappresenta per Rendez-vous il cuore dell’attività, il prodotto che gli ha dato maggior successo,
ma non certo l’unico. In pochi mesi, questa fucina
delle golosità è riuscita a farsi amare per la sorprendente varietà di proposte e le mille attenzioni
riservate proprio a tutti, anche a chi del gelato
pensava di dover fare a meno. Per celiaci, intolleranti al lattosio, vegani e diabetici, ad esempio, c’è
il buonissimo gelato di riso 100% vegetale, fat free,
senza latte, senza glutine, senza saccarosio. E perfino gli amici cani possono contare su un Ice Bau
tutto per loro. Il denominatore comune è sempre
la scrupolosa scelta delle materie prime: latte
fresco alta qualità, uova da allevamenti a terra a km

un locale. I meriti? Della gestione e dello staff,
che non dimenticano mai che qualità e sorriso
sono elementi che in un ristorante non possono
mancare. In cucina c’è Gianluca: il collega Ivan lo
definisce un cuoco di “peso”, prendendolo in giro
per le sue misure un po’ abbondanti, ma in realtà
il suo è solo apprezzamento per il giusto calibro
che sa dare alla proposta ristorativa in cui il pesce
trionfa con gusti e sapori sempre indovinati. Se

stata inaugurata all’inizio dell’estate la nuova autostazione di Eraclea Mare, realizzata
in un’area di 1500 metri quadrati di via Livenzuola. Questa è una località che contribuisce a
fare del Veneto Orientale una delle più importanti
realtà turistico-balneari d’Italia e come tale andava
fatto un adeguato investimento anche su questo
fronte, dotandola di un servizio che, oltretutto,
aiuterà a far crescere la sua immagine anche all’estero. L’intervento è stato possibile grazie ad un
accordo a quattro, che ha evidenziato la perfetta
sintonia tra pubblico e privato: ATVO, Comune
di Eraclea, Provincia di Venezia e Natura Invest
(società che gestisce il Camping Portofelice, una
delle più importanti realtà della costa veneziana).
Il progetto ha visto la realizzazione dell’autostazione con pensilina, punto vendita automatizzato,
video sorveglianza; quindi una rotatoria con due
fermate in sicurezza situate in prossimità del
Camping.
L’obiettivo è quello di offrire a turisti e cittadini un’autostazione, dei mezzi e una biglietteria
moderne ed adeguate, che insieme costituiscono
quella qualità del servizio che è il migliore biglietto
da visita per il territorio e in particolare per una
città turistica come Eraclea.

The new Eraclea Mare bus terminal was opened at the
beginning of the summer, over an area of 1,500 m² in
via Livenzuola. This is a resort that helps make the Eastern Veneto one of the most important seaside tourist destinations in Italy and, as such, an adequate investment
had to be made on this front to provide it with a service
which, above all, will help its image to grow abroad, too.
The work was made possible by a four-sided agreement
that highlights the perfect understanding between the
public and the private sphere: ATVO, the Municipality of
Eraclea, the Province of Venice and Natura Invest (the
company that manages the Portofelice Campsite, one of
the most important on the Venetian coast). The project
saw the creation of the bus terminal with a platform
roof, a vending machine and video surveillance. There
is also a roundabout with two safe stops located near the
Campsite.
The aim is to offer tourists and citizens a suitable, modern bus terminal, public transport and a ticket office,
which together form part of the quality of service that is
the best visiting card for the local area and, in particular, for a tourist resort like Eraclea.

Zu Sommerbeginn wurde der neue Busbahnhof von
Eraclea Mare eröffnet, der auf einer 1500-m2-großen
Fläche der via Livenzuola erbaut wurde. Dieser Ort
trägt dazu bei, dass Ostvenetien eines der wichtigsten
Badeurlaubsgebiete Italiens ist, und daher war es
notwendig, auch in dieser Hinsicht eine entsprechende Investition zu tätigen und eine Serviceleistung zur
Verfügung zu stellen, die ferner das Image von Eraclea Mare auch im Ausland steigert. Die Maßnahme
war dank einer vierstimmigen Übereinkunft möglich,
die die perfekte Einigkeit zwischen Öffentlichkeit und
Privatunternehmen verdeutlichte: ATVO (Transportunternehmen Ostvenetiens), die Gemeinde von Eraclea,
die Provinz Venedig und Natura Invest (das Unternehmen, das den Camping Portofelice betreibt, eines
der bedeutendsten Unternehmen der venezianischen
Küste). Das Projekt verwirklichte den Busbahnhof mit
Überdachung, automatischem Fahrkartenverkauf, Videoüberwachung, sowie einen Kreisverkehr mit zwei
Sicherheitshaltestellen in der Nähe des Campings. Das
Ziel besteht darin, den Touristen und Bürgern einen
Busbahnhof zu bieten, sowie moderne und angemessene Verkehrsmittel und einen Fahrkartenschalter, welche
gemeinsam die Qualität der Serviceleistungen ausmachen und somit die beste Visitenkarte des Gebiets und
insbesondere eines Urlaubsortes wie Eraclea darstellen.

realizzata proprio per loro. Qualcosa di più adrenalinico? È qui che entra in gioco Pista Azzurra
(via Roma Destra, 90), uno dei circuiti kartistici
più importanti del mondo, dove si può noleggiare
un kart e provare in prima persona l’ebbrezza
della velocità. Per chi preferisce lo shopping, è da
poco arrivata la prima Jesolo Fashion Guide, la
guida alla moda sul litorale: basta scaricare l’app

– perché lo scrigno del fashion si apra di fronte ai

la 14. Mostra Internazionale di Architettura, curata dall’archistar Rem Koolhaas.
Tante le novità di questa edizione, che si presenta
come una grande Biennale di ricerca sull’architettura. I Padiglioni nazionali (66, di cui 10 presenti
per la prima volta) in Absorbing Modernity 19142014 illustrano il processo di annullamento delle
caratteristiche nazionali a favore di un singolo linguaggio moderno. Anche il Padiglione Italia, intitolato Innesti/Grafting, segue questa direzione.
Al Padiglione Centrale ha vita la sezione Elements of Architecture, che si propone di rileggere
l’architettura partendo dagli elementi costitutivi
degli edifici (pavimenti, pareti, soffitti, tetti…).
All’Arsenale si trova invece la sezione Monditalia:
un unico tema, l’Italia per l’appunto, indagato
attraverso esposizioni, rappresentazioni teatrali ed eventi che coinvolgeranno anche gli altri
settori della Biennale. In tutta Venezia si tengono

The 14th International Architecture Exhibition, curated
by famous architect Rem Koolhaas, can be visited until

national characteristics have been annulled in favour

a Regata Storica è la più importante competizione di voga alla veneta della stagione,
ma soprattutto un evento spettacolare
che lascia a bocca aperta. Quest’anno si terrà
domenica 7 settembre: nel pomeriggio avrà
inizio il Corteo Storico, una sfilata lungo il Canal
Grande di imbarcazioni storiche con figuranti
in costume. Si rievoca l’accoglienza riservata
nel 1489 a Caterina Cornaro, sposa del re di
Cipro, che rinunciò al trono a favore di Venezia.
Sull’acqua decine e decine di imbarcazioni tipiche
cinquecentesche, coloratissime e con gondolieri
in costume d’epoca, che trasportano il Doge, la
Dogaressa, Caterina Cornaro e tutte le più alte
cariche della Magistratura veneziana. Subito dopo
il Corteo Storico avranno inizio le regate, gare su
particolari imbarcazioni tipiche della laguna. Info

The Historic Regatta is the most important Venetian

spectacular event that will leave you open mouthed.
This year it will be held on Sunday 7th September: the

with players in costume along the Grand Canal. It re-evokes the welcome given to Catherine Cornaro, bride of
the King of Cyprus, who gave up the throne for Venice
in 1489. On the water there will be dozens of highly colourful, typical 16th century vessels, with gondoliers in
period costume who will transport the Doge, his wife, Catherine Cornaro and the most important magistrates of

Die Regata Storica ist der wichtigste Wettkampf im typisch venezianischen Ruderstil (voga alla veneta) der
Saison, doch vor allem ist sie ein spektakuläres Ereignis,
das alle Zuschauer in Staunen versetzt. Dieses Jahr findet sie am Sonntag, 7. September statt: Am Nachmittag
beginnt der Corteo Storico, der Bootskorso entlang des
Canal Grande mit historischen Booten und kostümierter Besatzung. Damit wird der Empfang nachgestellt,
der im Jahr 1489 Caterina Cornaro bereitet wurde, der
Braut des Königs von Zypern, die zu Gunsten Venedigs
auf den Thron verzichtete. Auf dem Wasser werden der
Doge, seine Frau, Caterina Cornaro und alle anderen Amtsmitglieder der venezianischen Regierung auf
Dutzenden typischen Boote des 16. Jahrhunderts, bunt

Dogenpalast
er ist der frühere Sitz des Dogen und des venezianischen Regierungs- und Verwaltungszentrums. Die

Regierungszimmer, sowie die Waffenkammer und
Gefängnisse. Zudem gibt es die „Geheimen Wege‟,
die nur bei vorheriger Anmeldung besucht werden

Das Museum bietet verschiedene entdeckungstouren
der Kunst und Geschichte der Stadt: von der Skulpturensammlung von Antonio Canova über die Zimmer

auch eine herrliche Tour, um das Leben der Republik
Venedig kennenzulernen.

Das Glasmuseum befindet sich in Murano und zeigt
die Geschichte der Glasbearbeitung, von den ersten

Gemälde, Skulpturen, einrichtungsgegenständen
und ornamentale Fresken, nachbildung von drei

Palazzo Mocenigo
In diesem Adelswohnsitz in San Stae befindet sich
das Centro Studi di Storia del Tessuto e del Costume
(Studienzentrum der Geschichte des Stoffes und der

Haus von Carlo Goldoni
Das Geburtshaus von Carlo Goldoni zollt seiner Kunst

ST. MARk’S SqUARE ANd THE
ISLANdS
The Doge’s Palace
This is the ancient home of the Doge and the Venetian magistracy. The visit includes the Doge’s Apartment, the Institutional Rooms, the Armoury and the
prisons. There are also Secret Itineraries, which must
be booked in advance.
The Correr Museum
Itineraries to discover the city’s art and history:
sculptures by Canova, the empress elizabeth’s room
and paintings. There is also an itinerary to discover
life in the Venetian Republic.
The Clock Tower
The Tower can only be visited on a guided tour,
booked in advance. Discover the mechanisms that
make the clock work, the wooden statues and see
Venice from on high from the terrace.
The Glass Museum
This is located in Murano and presents the story of
glass, from the first archaeological relics to today. It
is currently under restoration and only part of it can
be visited.
The Lace Museum
This is located on burano and documents the development of the art of lace making from the 16th to
the 20th century. You can see master lace makers
at work.

Ca’ Rezzonico
The Museum of 18th Century Venice: paintings,
sculptures, furnishings, decorative frescoes and the
reproduction of three rooms from the Farmacia Ai
do San Marchi.
The Mocenigo Palace
A stately home in San Stae, it houses the Textile and
Costume Study Centre and an exhibition of mostly
Venetian clothing and accessories.
Carlo Goldoni’s House
Goldoni’s birthplace offers a tribute to his art and
theatre and is also home to the Theatre Studies
Centre Library.
Ca’ Pesaro
Home of the International Gallery of Modern Art
with paintings and sculptures by Kandinsky, Klee,
Moore, Chagall, Klimt and others. The third floor is
home to the Museum of Oriental Art.
The Fortuny Palace
Hosts temporary exhibitions dedicated to the visual arts.
The Natural History Museum
botany, zoology, natural science and much more, like
the skeletons of a fin whale and a sperm whale, together with the tegnùe aquarium. Multimedia display.
