Eine der spektakulärsten Alpenüberquerungen: Der Bernina Express
von Chur / Davos über St. Moritz nach Tirano und weiter mit dem Bus
nach Lugano verbindet Sprachregionen und Kulturen – in Schlangenlinien und ohne Zahnrad. Ein Hochgenuss ist die Panoramafahrt
durch das UNESCO Welterbe RhB.
Die Bahnstrecke fügt sich harmonisch in die Gebirgswelt ein. 55 Tunnels, 196 Brücken und Steigungen von bis zu 70 Promille meistert der
Zug mit Leichtigkeit. Auf 2 253 m ü. M. thront das Dach der RhB, das Ospizio Bernina. Hier werden Naturgenuss und Kulturerlebnis eins, hier
werden sie zur schönsten Erfahrung der Alpen.
Die Panoramafahrt im Glacier Express durch die Schweizer Alpen prägt
sich ein – mit Höhepunkten vom Anfang bis zum Ende. In St. Moritz
grüsst eine schillernde Welt, in Zermatt der meistfotografierte Berg
der Welt, das Matterhorn.
Über 291 Brücken und durch 91 Tunnels führt die 8-stündige Fahrt im
langsamsten Schnellzug der Welt. Vom mondänen St. Moritz schlängelt
sich der Zug durch das Albulatal und die Rheinschlucht, den Grand Canyon der Schweiz. Den höchsten Punkt der Reise erreichen Sie auf dem
Oberalppass, auf 2 033 m ü. M. Das Ziel naht: Schon bald rückt das Matterhorn ins Blickfeld.

One of the most spectacular ways to cross the Alps: the Bernina Express from Chur / Davos to Tirano (via St. Moritz) and further by the
bus to Lugano links up regions with different languages and cultures.
This is not a rack railway and the train winds its way gently through
splendid scenery. One of the highlights is the panoramic journey
through the UNESCO World Heritage RhB.
The railway is unique, blending ideally with the alpine landscapes. The
train negotiates the 55 tunnels, 196 bridges and inclines of up to 70
per mille with ease. At the highest point on the RhB, 2,253 m a.s.l., you
will find the Ospizio Bernina. Here, visitors can delight in the cultural
and natural surroundings and enjoy the Alps at their most impressive.
The panoramic journey on the Glacier Express through the Swiss Alps

a shimmering world welcomes you and Zermatt is home to the world's
most photographed mountain, the Matterhorn.
The 8-hour journey on board the slowest express train in the world
takes passengers over 291 bridges and through 91 tunnels. From cosmopolitan St. Moritz the train snakes its way through the Albula Valley and Rhine Gorge, Switerland's very own Grand Canyon. The highest
point of the journey is the Oberalp Pass at 2,033 m a.s.l. Our destination

What began in 1889 with the construction of the track between

Ciò che nel 1889 iniziò come la linea Landquart – Klosters, oggigiorno
è una rete lunga 384 chilometri. Le linee ferroviarie con i loro spettacolari viadotti e le gallerie elicoidali si inseriscono con una straordinaria armonia nel paesaggio affascinante. Dal 2008 la linea del Bernina e dell'Albula è annoverata fra i Patrimoni mondiali dell'UNESCO.
