The winery Gorgo is located on the morainic hills of Custoza and is personally conducted by
the owner Roberto Bricolo. The farm occupies about 50 hectares of vineyards. The last architectural work of expansion and renovation was done on 2005 and involved the wine cellar
and the buildings reserved to welcome guests: this best shows the qualitative development
and the strong characterization of the winery.

The Tamburino Sardo family run winery of Adriano Fasoli and sons since 1968 extends for
about 12 hectares all planted with vineyards and is located at the highest point of Custoza
known as Tamburino Sardo where the heroic Sardinian drummer fall. The harvest is personally supervised by the Fasoli family and its timing is carefully selected over three different
stages according to the weather and the ripeness of the grapes.

L’azienda di Fasoli Adriano e Figli Viticoltori, dal 1968 si
estende per circa 12 ettari tutti coltivati a vigneto a conduzione famigliare, è situata nella zona più alta di Custoza, denominata Tamburino Sardo, la vendemmia è curata personalmente dalla famiglia Fasoli e viene selezionata a mano in tre
momenti diversi secondo il clima e la maturazione raggiunta.

L’Azienda Agricola Gorgo si trova sulle colline moreniche di
Custoza, è personalmente condotta dal titolare Roberto Bricolo ed occupa circa 50 ettari di vigneti. È del 2005 l’ultimo
intervento architettonico di ampliamento e ristrutturazione,
dedicato sia alla cantina di vinificazione sia agli edifici riservati

The Cellar of Custoza was founded on 1968 by 83 members. Today the members are 213 and
they cultivate more than a thousand hectares of vineyard. The variety of products of the winery is ensured by the multiplicity of the winemakers. The quality of the wines was confirmed
in the “Special Award Vinitaly Region Veneto 2010”.
Climbing on top of the hill Tamburino where the Sardinian drummer fall, you reach the winery Cascina Mondator where Roberto Predomo has gathered the experience of three generations of winemakers to produce his own Custoza wine.

Custoza”, una passeggiata nella storia e nella cultura del vino in
nove tappe e altrettante cantine, dove i partecipanti, accompagnati da guide,
potranno apprezzare le bellezze naturalistiche e gustare i nostri vini accompagnati da piatti preparati dall’Associazione Ristoratori del Custoza.
The love of winemakers, restaurant owners and the municipal
administration for their Custoza district is the driving force of
the event “Walking in Custoza”, a walk through the history and
the culture of wine in nine stages and in the same number of wineries, where
the participants, accompanied by guides, will appreciate the beauty of the
nature and enjoy our wines with dishes prepared by the Association of restaurant owners of Custoza.

L’Azienda Agricola Villa Medici di Caprara Luigi prende il
nome dalla Villa di inizio Ottocento, che sorge circondata
dai vigneti sotto l’Ossario di Custoza. I vigneti si estendono sul territorio di Custoza e Sommacampagna, sulle ultime propaggini delle colline moreniche, per una superficie
di 33 ettari. La sede aziendale, la cantina e il punto vendita si trovano a Sommacampagna nella casa agricola di
famiglia, risalente al 1700.
La nostra azienda si trova in una posizione meravigliosa
in vetta ad una delle colline di Custoza, all’interno di un
borgo chiamato Valbusa, da alcuni considerato il primo
nucleo abitativo del paese. Il prezioso terreno arido e sassoso, i moderni impianti a Guyot e a cordone speronato,
l’irrigazione a goccia (ma solo come soccorso in caso di
siccità) assicurano una cura meticolosa del vigneto. La
cantina è dotata di tutte le migliori tecnologie.
The winery is located in a wonderful place at the summit of one of the hills of the Custoza
area, in a village called Valbusa, considered by some the first settlement of the town. The
parched and stony land, the modern Guyot fixtures and the spurred cordon fixtures, the
sparkling system (used only in case of drought), ensure a meticulous attention of the vineyards. The winery is equipped with the best technologies.

The Winery Villa Medici of Caprara Luigi takes its name from the villa from the early nineteenth century which is located under the Ossuary of Custoza surrounded by the vineyards.
The vineyards cover an area of 33 hectares in the municipalities of Custoza and Sommacampagna, on the foothills of the morainic hills. The winery’s headquarters, the winery and the
shop are located in Sommacampagna in the family’s farmhouse of the eighteenth century.

l’ossario di custoza / ossuary of custoza
Inaugurato da Umberto I il 24 giugno 1879, raccoglie le ossa dei soldati italiani e
austriaci morti durante le Guerre d’Indipendenza (1848 e 1866). Fortemente voluto
da Don Gaetano Pivatelli (1832-1900), parroco del paese, per dare degna sepoltura
ai resti mortali dei caduti delle battaglie. Il monumento, a pianta ottagonale,
è composto da una cripta sotterranea in cui sono custodite le ossa dei caduti
delle due guerre e da un obelisco per un’altezza totale di 38 metri. L’Ossario di
Custoza, che accoglie indistintamente le spoglie dei caduti dei diversi eserciti,
può essere considerato uno dei primi monumenti europei alla pace.
Inaugurated by Umberto I, the June 24, 1879. Ossuary collects the bones
of the Italian and Austrian soldiers who died during the Italian Wars
of Independence (1848 and 1866). Strongly desidered by Don Gaetano
Pivatelli, local priest (1832-1900), to bury the mortal remains of the
fallen soldiers of the two battles. The monument, octagonal, is
composed of ad underground crypt, in which are collected the
bones of the fallen soldiers of two Indipendence Wars and
an obelisk for a total height of 38 meters. The Ossuary
of Custoza, which preserves without distinction the
remains of the fallen soldiers of different armies,
can be considered one of the first European
monuments to peace.

L’azienda agricola Antica Corte Bagolina da anni produce
vini di qualità avvalendosi di una gestione interamente
familiare; la corte storica sede dell’azienda risale al XVI
secolo ed è stata da poco ristrutturata. Nuova è anche
la cantina di vinificazione e il locale assaggi dal quale è
possibile accedere ad una suggestiva cantina sotterranea
portata alla luce qualche anno fa.
The winery Antica Corte Bagolina produces quality wines. The management is entirely familiar. The historic seat of the ancient court dates to the sixteenth century and has been
recently renovated. New are also the cellar and the tasting room from which you can access
an impressive underground cellar brought to light a few years ago.

La Cantina Tabarini Damiano e Silvio, è situata nelle immediate vicinanze dell’Ossario, in mezzo agli estesi vigneti che lo circondano. Produce vini che per la loro intensità e purezza fanno riaffiorare ricordi di antiche tradizioni.
La Cantina recentemente ristrutturata, si avvale dei più recenti mezzi per la vinificazione per ottenere vini di qualità.
The Winery Tabarini Damiano and Silvio is located in the immediate vicinity of the Ossuary in
the midst of the extended vineyards that surround it. The winery produces wines that due to
their intensity and purity resurface memories of ancient traditions. The winery was recently
renovated, using the most recent means of vinification in order to obtain quality wines.
