I left active duty after Germany and remained in the Individual Ready Reserves where I was a part of the mobilization team that had trained and developed a program for in- and out-processing Army Reserve and National Guard units for Operation Desert Shield/Storm in 199-1. It was satisfying to know that all this training and development was highly successful and, that as a team, we were the most effective mobilization organization in 6th US Army. In 1994, I left the Army as a Major. I thoroughly enjoyed the comraderie and work that I did for this great country. God Bless our service members and the job they do to keep this country free.
