If you have nit made your commitment, today would be a convenient opportunity to do so. Pledge cards, envelopes and pencils are available in pews or in the vestibule of the Church. Once completed, kindly place your pledge card in the offertory. Every gift is very important. Thank you for your generosity. For more information on the impact of your support for the appeal, visit www.archsaapeal.org. Young Catholic Professionals March 3, 2015 Have you ever thought about joining a MOPS (Mothers of Preschoolers) group? Mops is a nationally recognized organization that brings moms together that have children between the ages of newborn through kindergarten. Meetings will most likely be held on the first and third Fridays of the month between 9:00-11:00 a.m. in the St. Peter Annex Building. Dues will be $75.00 per semester (fall and spring). During a Mops meeting, moms can gather to learn new things by listening to a guest speaker, create a new “pinteresty” craft, participate in a service project, or just visit with other moms. Childcare will be provided during the meeting by having our little ones attend “Moppets.” Older, wiser, experienced moms are invited to join Mops as a “Mentor Mom.” We are looking to start a new Mops group at St. Peters for the spring semester. If you are interested in joining a Mops group, please contact Katherine Trimble at 713-822-7220. The mission of Young Catholic Professionals is to encourage adults in their 20’s & 30’s working in various professions to “Work in Witness for Christ.” Our upcoming event will feature Cecilia Smith, President of Smith Print & CEO of Red Door Solutions, at St. Peter Prince of the Apostles Parish Hall, 111 Barilla Place. Networking with refreshments & appetizers from 7:00—7:45 p.m. followed by Speaker with Q & A from 7:45—8:45 p.m. RSVP at www.facebook.com/YCPSanAntonio. Stewardship of Treasure February 22, 2015 was $14,902.82. Thank you for sharing your financial gifts! We are keeping up with technology… Online Giving is now at St. Peter’s !!! Perhaps, now more than ever, we must unite as Missionary Disciples and bring our message to the public square, and especially to our state legislators. By our very baptism, we have been called to hunger and thirst for justice and to be peacemakers in our communities. These actions affirm the dignity of each person as made in God’s image with rights to be respected and responsibilities to fulfill. Archbishop Gustavo wants to encourage you to participate in Advocacy Day on Tuesday, March 24, 2015 to bring awareness, prayer and advocacy for laws and policies that defend our religious liberty, which pursues true social justice founded upon respect for life and the common good. If you are interested in participating in Catholic Advocacy Day or have any questions please contact the Office for Life, Justice and Peace at 210-734-1655.
