NEYZEN NURULLAH KANIK
1982 yılında Bursa'da doğdu.
He was born in 1982, in Bursa.
İlk ve orta öğrenimini Bursa'da tamamladı.
He went to primary and secondary school in Bursa.
Küçük yaşlarda dini mûsikîyle ilgilenmeye başladı.
1993-1995 yılları arasında yerel radyo ve televizyonlarda
dini mûsikî icra etti. 1997 yılında Bursa Orhan Camii
Müezzinbaşı Hamdi DELİL Hoca'dan ney dersleri almaya
başladı. Aynı sene, Bursa Büyükşehir Belediye
Konservatuarı'na girdi.
He began to take a special interest in religious
music at a young age. Between 1993 and 1995, he
practiced religious music on local radio and television. In
1997 he began to take Ney lessons from Muezzin Hamdi
DELİL Hoca in Orhan Gazi Mosque, Bursa. The same year,
he entered the Bursa Metropolitan Municipality
Conservatory.

Konservatuar yılları boyunca, icra heyetinde ve
çeşitli topluluklarda ney üfledi. Bu süre içerisinde Erdinç
ÇELİKKOL ve İnci ÇAYIRLI'dan yararlandı. 2001 yılında,
Belediye Konservatuarı'ndan mezun oldu ve İTÜ Türk
Mûsikîsi Devlet Konservatuarı Temel Bilimler bölümünü
kazandı.
During these years at the conservatory, he played
the Ney in the executive board and various ensembles. In
this period, he benefited from the experience of Erdinç
ÇELİKKOL and İnci ÇAYIRLI. In 2001 he graduated from
the Bursa Municipality Conservatory and entered the
Department of Basic Sciences at Istanbul Technical
University State Conservatory of Turkish Music
İTÜ TMDK' ya girdikten sonra Üstad Niyazi
SAYIN'dan ney dersleri almaya başladı. Konservatuar
yıllarında başta Niyazi SAYIN olmak üzere Prof.Dr.Nevzat
ATLIĞ, Prof.Dr.Selahattin İÇLİ, Nurten ERPEK, Yavuz
ÖZÜSTÜN gibi değerli hocalarla çalışma fırsatı buldu. 2005
yılında İTÜ TMDK’dan dereceyle mezun oldu.
While he was a student at the Conservatory, he
began to take Ney lessons from Neyzen Niyazi SAYIN. In
his conservatory years, KANIK had the chance to work
together with especially Niyazi SAYIN and several
significant academics such as Prof.Dr.Nevzat ATLIĞ,
Prof.Dr.Selahattin İÇLİ, Nurten ERPEK and Yavuz
ÖZÜSTÜN. In 2005, he graduated with a degree from
Istanbul Technical University State Conservatory of Turkish
Music.

İstanbul Dini Mûsikî Topluluğu, Sadreddin ÖZÇİMİ,
Ahmet ŞAHİN, Reha SAĞBAŞ ve daha birçok değerli
sanatçıyla birlikte konser ve CD çalışmalarında yer aldı.
TRT, STV, Kanal D vb. çeşitli kanallarda mûsikî
programlarına katıldı. Çeşitli gruplarla ABD, Almanya,
Rusya ve Estonya'da Türk Mûsikîsi konserlerinde ney
üfledi.
He performed in concerts and participated in CD
projects together with Istanbul Religious Music Ensemble,
Sadreddin ÖZÇİMİ, Ahmet ŞAHİN, Reha SAĞBAŞ and
many significant artists. He participated in music programs
on various television channels such as TRT, STV and Kanal
D. Together with various groups; he played the Ney in
Turkish Music concerts held in USA, Germany, Russia and
Estonia.
Halen Neyzen Niyazi SAYIN ile ney derslerine
devam etmektedir.
He is still continuing Ney lessons with Neyzen
Niyazi SAYIN.
