Introduction / Uvod
Mostar is an economic, cultural, scientific, educative,
transport and touristic center of Herzegovina. Built on
riverside of Neretva and surrounded by mountains, it has
mild climate. Founded in 16th century, it has rich historical
and cultural monuments and architecture. After the 19921995 war, it was destroyed, but gradually it has been gaining
its old look and prosperity. The Faculty of Mechanical
Engineering is a part of its industrial prosperity as a place for
education of future engineers and a scientific research
center of Herzegovina. With this conference, Faculty of
Mechanical Engineering wants to improve industrial
research and make it more important as a part of an
industrial potentials of Mostar.
