Dear Colleagues,
It is a great honour and pleasure to invite you to the traditional 5th EuropeanAmerican Anesthesia Conference, which will be held in Rovinj, Crveni otok, Hotel Istra,
May 22-26, 2013.
The Conference will be an opportunity for professional anesthesiologists, intensivists,
and pain management doctors, as well as preclinical scientists who work in the fields
related to anesthesiology and intensive care, to present their research results.
The program will include oral presentations and internationally acclaimed workshops
of high clinical usability. Presentations will be given by eminent international and Croatian
scientists and physicians. Our goal is to create a positive and motivating environment for
specialists and residents to present their recent results and to be inspired for further activities,
as well as for gaining new knowledge, skills, and competencies.
We thank you for your interest and invite you to join us in Rovinj. We are happy to be
your hosts and share pleasant moments with you during our various social events and
excursion organized for you in Rovinj and Istra, situated in the beautiful and charming
Mediterranean region of Croatia.

The Conference is designed for anesthesiologists, intensivists, specialists of pain
management and perioperative care, as well as preclinical scientists.
It is an excellent opportunity for additional education and training for residents, specialists,
and subspecialists whose work and interests are related to anesthesiology, intensive care,
perioperative medicine, and pain management.
Physicians at all levels (specialists, fellows, and/or residents in training) seeking the
latest information pertaining to practice of the above specialties should attend, as well as all
other interested health professionals including general practicioners or internists in the fields
of intensive care and pain medicine, anesthesia, and ICU nurses.
