Directed by Lorenzo Salveti from 2 to 11 July EUROPEAN YOUNG THEATRE 2014 STUDIES AND PERFORMANCES PROPOSED BY YOUNG EUROPEAN ACTORS AND DIRECTORS For the second edition of European Young Theatre, this year again, more than 50 young actors and directors from the major Drama Schools of Europe (Budapest, Krakow, Glasgow, Madrid, Munich, Paris, Warsaw, Vilnius, Saint Petersburg, Strasburg ) will be present, as guests of the Accademia Nazionale d’Arte Drammatica “Silvio d’Amico”, at the Teatrino delle 6 in Spoleto for a laboratory on new creativity: performances and workshops, proposed and realized independently by the protagonists of the theatre of tomorrow. Each day the actors of the European Drama Schools will present their productions in a Competition that will see the most interesting proposals awarded at the end of the Festival . On the 11th of July, to celebrate the end of the Festival, the young European actors will compete in a marathon of one-man shows presenting monologues and short performances created by themselves. Furthermore, as an occasion to meet and share their experience with the town of Spoleto, the students of the Accademia “Silvio d’Amico” and their European colleagues will animate by surprise the streets of the town with open air performances.
