Il SIMATIC IPC677D sarà disponibile alla vendita per un lungo periodo (ca. 4-6 anni),
inoltre i ricambi dei componenti saranno disponibili per ulteriori 5 anni dalla data di
dismissione.
Compatibilità
Questo dispositivo è la naturale evoluzione del SIMATIC Panel PC 677C.
La serie IPC677D utilizza nuovi frontali con display wide con dimensioni e risoluzioni
diverse dai Panel PC 677C.
I SIMATIC IPC677D non sono compatibili a livello d’immagine con l’IPC precedenti, in
quanto l’ hardware presente sui nuovi IPC è tecnologicamente più avanzato.
Per utilizzare le schede di rete integrate come Master Profinet RT, bisognerà attendere
I’aggiornamento SP2 di WinAC RTX 2010 (circa metà 2014).
Migrazione
Il SIMATIC IPC677D sostituirà a medio termine il SIMATIC IPC677C che rimarrà
disponibile per circa ulteriori 15 mesi precedentemente alla fase di dismissione, che durerà
ca. 12 mesi.
