Fasem (acronimo di Fabbrica Sedie
Metalliche) è un’azienda italiana.
Nasce nel 1976.
Produce sedie (perlopiù) e altri oggetti
di arredo, per la casa e l’ufficio.
Fasem applica lo stilema del design
di levatura internazionale associato
alla qualità della perizia manuale.
Ogni prodotto ha sensibilità globale,
nella forma, ma valore a numero unico,
nella realizzazione.

is an Italian company. It was born in 1976.
It produces (mainly) chairs and other
home/office furniture items.
Fasem applies the style of international
high-design associated with the quality
of craftsmanship.
Each product has overall feeling about
the form (shape, visual appearance),
but it has a value with a unique number,
about the manufacturing.

Cuoio e pelle
Metalli
• Concia: lavatura, depilazione, scarnatura,
macerazione, tintura al tannino con estratti
vegetali (eseguita in bottale di legno),
rifinitura e lucidatura.
• Taglio, cucitura e rifilatura fino
a 6 ore di lavorazione per pezzo.
• Test di resistenza: all’acqua, alla luce,
allo sfregamento.
• Forgiatura: riscaldato, modellazione,
stampaggio.
• Pressofusione: tecnica di fonderia applicata
all’alluminio in cui la lega metallica allo
stato liquido o pastoso viene iniettata
dentro forme metalliche (stampo) con
l’ausilio di forti pressioni.
• Cromatura e verniciatura a polvere:
rivestimento di cromo trivalente (Cr3+)
su acciaio, oppure di nichel (nichelatura)
e zinco (zincatura), con procedimento
galvanico a deposizione elettrolitica.
Segue cottura a 200 °C.
Hide leather and leather
Metals
• Tanning: washing, shaving, fleshing,
maceration, tannin tincture with plant
extracts (it’s performed in wooden barrels),
finishing and polishing.
• Cutting, stitching and trimming. This can take
up to 6 hours of work per unit.
• Water, light and rubbing resistance testing.
• Forging: heated, modeling, molding.
• Die casting: metal casting technique applied
to Aluminum where the molten or pasty metal
under high pressure is injected into
a mold cavity.
• Chrome plating and powder coating: trivalent
chromium plating (Cr+3) onto a steel base
or nickel-plating and zinc-plating, utilizing
the electrolytic deposition.
This is followed by burning at 392 °F.
Adjustable barstool with gas mechanism and available in the usual range of color
combinations and finishes of the collection.
It is certain that this stool is able to satisfy any space and functionality requirements
of everyday life for both domestic and contract environments.
