The history of Bimar. Since 1930, the Brianzi family has been working in the appliances
sector creating home appliances to make everyday chores easier; but Bimar’s story started
in 1974 with the production of gas stoves, electric ovens and grill presses for the local and
overseas market. This was followed gradually by engagement with businesses in the Far
East and the creation of synergies that led Bimar to the creation of a new sector: design…

category: products that
either due to the type of
heating element used or
the way they diffuse heat,
are particularly efficient
in terms of their heating
ability.
Includes table top or floor ceramic (PTC) fan
heaters or those attached to the wall.
PTC (Positive Temperature Coefficient)
fan heaters make use of ceramic heating
elements. This material allows the heater
to auto-regulate and as a result, reduces
energy consumption: the lower the ambient
temperature, the higher the heating power
emitted. When the temperature increases,
the heating element reduces the amount
of heat emitted and as a result, energy
consumption too. It is therefore Energy
Saving.

than fan heaters (with wire heating elements) in the long time.
In large spaces (41m2), PTC (ceramic heating element) fan heaters have a running cost that is 7-12% lower
than normal fan heaters (with wire heating element) in the short and medium times.

Traditional fan heaters with non-glowing wire heating
elements can either be table-top, floor, or wall units.
The heat goes straight to the area where it is needed (heating
quickly) and rapidly spreads into the space thanks to forced
ventilation.
How to read
the IP rating?
Electrical appliances often bear the letters ‘IP’ on their packaging with numbers alongside: these identify the
degree of protection from solid objects (first number) and liquids (second number). You can check the degree of
IP protection in the table below. E.g. IP53 – the first number identifies protection against dust, the second number
identifies protection against rain.

Infrared waves are magnetic waves with a frequency that cannot be seen by the
human eye, but is felt in the form of heat on our skin.
The frequency of the waves emitted by the carbon heating elements, and special
halogens, guarantees a heat sensation absorbed by the skin that is four times greater
than any other products that uses quartz heating elements or a normal halogen lamp.
The heat felt by the user is therefore four times greater than normal heaters.

Firstly, they have a much greater heating power than normal electric appliances: 105%
more infrared waves. They do not need a chimney to direct fumes, they are manageable,
they can be moved anywhere quite easily and they are not too bulky. The gas stove is
becoming ever more popular for small spaces (35m2) that are well ventilated.
Heaters fuelled by GPL in 15kg cylinders, have a safety valve that immediately
interrupts the flow of gas if the percentage of carbon dioxide exceeds 1,5%,
or if the pilot flame is accidentally blown out.
The analyser found on all our products is manufactured and supplied to us
by an Italian firm, a leader in components for gas geysers (Made in Italy).
The pressure regulator and flexible hose with its pipe clamps are also Made
in Italy.
Infrared waves: guarantee higher warming power; the ceramic plates
become red and hot and the heat is generated both from the combustion
itself and the spreading of infrared waves. It advisable to ventilate the room
every 2-3 hours.
