THE COMPANY
Da oltre 60 anni ILLA produce strumenti per la cucina e il suo marchio è da sempre
sinonimo di affidabilità ed esperienza. Dal 2009 l’azienda è entrata in una nuova epoca,
le cui parole chiave sono sfida e innovazione che si sono già concretizzate con l’inaugurazione del nuovissimo sito produttivo di Noceto (Parma): 30.000 metri quadrati di superficie coperta, 100 dipendenti e una capacità produttiva giornaliera di 80.000 pezzi.
Ogni risultato è un punto di partenza verso il futuro. La nuova proprietà, forte di una
lunga tradizione nel settore e di un know-how consolidato e specializzato, ha intrapreso
la riaffermazione del marchio ILLA attraverso importanti investimenti e un sostanziale
rinnovamento delle linee di prodotto.
Ogni utensile ILLA - sinonimo di funzionalità, affidabilità, resistenza ed eleganza - è progettato e realizzato con la stessa passione e lo stesso entusiasmo di chi cucina quotidianamente per sé e per i propri cari.
ILLA, con il 75% dei prodotti esportati in oltre 40 nazioni, è oggi uno dei principali nomi
del made in Italy nel settore dei casalinghi, apprezzato e richiesto in tutto il mondo.
For over 60 years ILLA has been manufacturing kitchen utensils and its brand has always meant reliability and extensive experience. Since 2009 the company has entered
a new era, where the key words are challenge and innovation that began with the official opening of the brand-new production site in Noceto (Parma): a floor area totaling
30,000 m2, 100 employees and a production capacity of 80,000 pieces per day.
Each result is the starting point towards the future. The new owners, who boast a
longtime tradition in this sector as well as consolidated and specialized know-how,
have started to work to reassert the value of the ILLA brand by investing heavily and
performing a complete overhaul of its product lines.
Each ILLA utensil - absolutely functional, reliable, resistant and elegant - is designed
and manufactured with the same passion and enthusiasm of those who daily cook
dishes for themselves and family.
ILLA, which exports 75% of its products to over 40 countries, is today one of the
leading names of all Italian products in the household goods industry, appreciated and
in demand worldwide.

LA STORIA
L’Industria Langhiranese Lavorazione Alluminio (I.L.L.A.) nasce nel 1946.
Nel 1968, grazie a un accordo con la multinazionale DuPont, leader nell’antiaderente con il celebre
marchio Teflon, il tratto distintivo dei prodotti ILLA diviene il rivestimento antiaderente più all’avanguardia tutt’ora presente sul mercato.
Nel 1994 l’azienda ottiene la certificazione SGS ISO 9001.
Alla fine del 2008 ILLA cambia proprietà e attua una strategia di forte rilancio del marchio e di
crescita del business.
Già nel 2009 vengono realizzati forti investimenti, sviluppati in due direzioni: restyling completo
dei propri prodotti, dei marchi e della rete commerciale; ampliamento del proprio stabilimento
di Noceto (Parma),con l’introduzione di nuove linee all’avanguardia di verniciatura e produzione.
OUR HISTORY
Industria Langhiranese Lavorazione Alluminio (I.L.L.A.) was set up in 1946.
In 1968, following an agreement with the multinational company DuPont, a leader in non-stick
coating with its famous Teflon brand, the most advanced non-stick coating available at that time
in the market, became the distinctive feature of ILLA products.
In 1994 the company achieved the SGS ISO 9001 certification.
At the end of 2008 ILLA changed owners within a strategy that intended to strongly re-launch
the brand and make the business grow.
In 2009 significant investments were made in two directions: fully restyling the products, the
brands and the sales network; enlarging the production works in Noceto (Parma) by introducing
new advanced painting and manufacturing lines.
LA TECNOLOGIA
La ricerca del massimo livello di qualità disponibile è per ILLA un punto cardine della produzione.
Nessun dettaglio è trascurato e le tecnologie impiegate sono costantemente aggiornate. Lo stabilimento, in cui trovano spazio tutte le fasi produttive dalla verniciatura alla finitura e confezionamento
del prodotto, è diretto da personale di lunga esperienza, le cui competenze sono sempre al passo
con i tempi. Severi controlli completano il ciclo produttivo di ILLA, garantendo il 100% di affidabilità
per qualsiasi pezzo inserito nella catena commerciale. La progettazione accurata e la tecnologia
all’avanguardia che caratterizzano i prodotti ILLA sono completate dall’utilizzo di materiali di livello
superiore. Ogni materiale necessario per produrre pentole, padelle e caffettiere è scelto dopo accurate selezioni e verifiche e le forniture sono costantemente monitorate, anche direttamente nei punti
vendita. ILLA riveste l’interno di pentole e tegami con le vernici antiaderente più affidabili presenti
sul mercato, grazie alla consolidata partnership con DuPont e alla recente sinergia con Whitford.
TECHNOLOGY
Fundamental to ILLA’s production is aiming to achieve the top level of the quality available.
No detail is neglected and the technologies used are constantly updated. The production
unit, where all the different production stages can be found, from painting to finishing and
product packaging, is managed by personnel with extensive experience and updated skills.
Strict controls complete ILLA’s production cycle, guaranteeing 100% reliability for each piece
part of the sales chain. The careful design and advanced technology which characterize ILLA’s
products are complemented by the use of superior materials. Each material required to manufacture pots, pans and coffee-makers is chosen after careful selection and checking, and items
are constantly monitored, even directly in sales points. ILLA coats its pots and pans with the
most reliable non-stick coatings available in the market, thanks to its long-lasting partnership with
DuPont and its recent synergy with Whitford.

Teflon® Platinum Plus è il rivestimento antiaderente più resistente ai graffi e all’abrasione finora realizzato. Il primo
in grado di resistere anche all’azione dei normali utensili metallici e delle pagliette abrasive. Applicato in tre strati,
con uno spessore minimo di 40 micron, contiene microscopiche particelle minerali particolarmente dure. Gli utensili
metallici scivolano su queste particelle senza danneggiare la superficie in Teflon® in cui sono inserite, salvaguardandone così le proprietà di antiaderenza.
Teflon® Select ha caratteristiche di maggiore durata ed è il rivestimento destinato ad un uso ultra-intensivo. Prevede

ILLA protects the inside of its pans and pots with the most reliable non-stick coatings available on the market, thanks
to its long-standing partnership with DuPont and its recent synergy with Whitford.
Teflon® Platinum Plus is the non-stick coating most resistant to scratches and abrasion created so far. It is the first
able to resist the effects of ordinary metal utensils and abrasive sponges.
Coming in three layers, with a minimum 40-micron thick coating, it includes microscopic, very hard mineral particles.
Metal utensils move over these particles without damaging the Teflon® surface they are part of, thus protecting its
non-stick performance.
