Toepasbaarheid
De module VM10 kan op een cv-toestel - voorzien van een
UBA 3/EMS - worden aangesloten.

Functie van de module
De module VM10 dient ter aansturing van een tweede magneetventiel en wordt voor toestellen op propaan gebruikt. Bij
warmtevraag (cv of ww) wordt er spanning op het tweede magneetventiel gezet.
De spanning wordt van het tweede magneetventiel gehaald, op
het moment dat:
• de UBA 3 een vergrendelende storing heeft, of
• de communicatie met het cv-toestel tenminste 5 minuten is
verbroken.
Bij einde warmtevraag (cv of ww) wordt de spanning ook van
het tweede magneetventiel gehaald.
De module VM10 reageert niet op storingen van externe regelapparatuur, die op het toestel zijn aangesloten.

Montage
▶ Monteer de module VM10 zoals beschreven in de bijgevoegde “Montage-instructie functiemodule VM10”.

Op de MV 230V-aansluiting ( afb. 2, [1]) kan het tweede
magneetventiel worden aangesloten.
▶ Sluit de module VM10 d.m.v. een kabel aan op de aansluiting EMS ( afb. 1, [1]) en op de RC-aansluiting
(afb. 1, [2]) van het cv-toestel. De aansluiting is polariteitsgevoelig.

Het aansluiten van meerdere modules
Het is mogelijk om meerdere verschillende modules (bijvoorbeeld EM10 en VM10) met elkaar te verbinden.
Om twee of meerdere modules met elkaar te verbinden, kan de
netaansluiting ( afb. 3, [2]) en de EMS-aansluiting
( afb. 3, [3]) steeds worden doorverbonden.

Led-meldingen op de VM10 module
Er is 1 led die of rood of groen kan oplichten. De led knippert
kortstondig rood, op het moment dat er spanning op het cv-toestel komt te staan.

Range of application

The module VM10 may be installed in boilers equipped with a
UBA 3/EMS.

Function of module VM10
The module VM10 is used to control a second magnetic valve
and is also used for boilers operating on LPG. When there is a
heat demand (for CH or DHW), a voltage is placed on the
second magnetic valve.
The voltage is removed from the magnetic valve when:
• the UBA 3 has a locking fault code, or
• there has been no communication with the boiler for at
least 5 minutes.
There is also no voltage on the second magnetic valve in case
there is no more heat demand (CH or DHW).
The module VM10 does not respond to malfunctions of any
external controllers which may be installed.

▶ Mount the module VM10 as described in “Mounting
instructions function module xM10”.

Connect the second magnetic valve to the MV 230Vconnection ( fig. 2, [1]).
Connection
▶ Connect the module with a cable to the EMS-connection
( fig. 1, [1]) and the RC-connection of the external
connection board ( fig. 1, [2]) of the boiler.
The connection is polarity sensitive.

Connecting several modules

Wiring diagram
It is possible to connect several different modules (e.g. EM10
and VM10).
In order to connect two or more modules, interconnect the
mains connections ( fig. 3, [2]) and the EMS-connections
( fig. 3, [3]).

LED-reports of the VM10 module
There is one LED which can light up red or green. The red LED
flashes for a short time when the mains power is turned on.

Le module VM10 peut être branché à une chaudière avec
UBA 3/EMS.

Fonction du module VM10
Le module VM10 sert à commander une deuxième électrovanne. Il est utilisé pour des chaudières alimentée en gaz
liquide (propane). En cas de demande de chaleur, une tension
est générée sur la deuxième électrovanne.
La tension sur la deuxième électrovanne disparaît lorsque :
• l'UBA 3 présente un défaut verrouillant ou
• la communication avec la chaudière est interrompue
depuis au moins 5 minutes.
A la fin de la demande de chaleur, la tension sur la deuxième
électrovanne disparaît également.
Le module VM10 ne réagit pas à des défauts de régulations
externes, raccordées à la chaudière.

▶ Monter le module VM10 comme décrit dans la « Notice de
montage du module de fonction xM10 » ci-joint.

La deuxième électrovanne peut être branchée à la borne MV
230V ( fig. 2, [1]).
Branchement
▶ Brancher le module VM10 à l'aide d'un câble à 2 conducteurs entre la borne EMS ( fig. 1, [1]) et la borne RC du
bornier de la chaudière ( fig. 1, [2]). Les bornes sont
protégées contre les inversions de polarité.

Branchement de plusieurs modules
Vous pouvez relier plusieurs modules différents (p. ex. EM10 et
VM10).
Pour relier deux ou plusieurs modules, la borne secteur
( fig. 3, [2]) et la borne EMS ( fig. 3, [3]) peuvent être
reliés à d'autres composants.

Das Modul VM10 kann an Heizkessel mit UBA 3/EMS angeschlossen werden.

Funktion des Moduls VM10
Das Modul VM10 dient der Ansteuerung eines zweiten Magnetventils und wird für Heizkessel in Flüssiggas-ausführung eingesetzt. Bei Wärmeanforderung entsteht Spannung auf dem
zweiten Magnetventil.
Die Spannung auf dem zweiten Magnetventil erlischt, wenn:
• der UBA 3 eine verriegelnde Störung hat, oder
• die Kommunikation mit dem Heizkessel seit mindestens
5 Minuten unterbrochen ist.
Nach Beendigung der Wärmeanforderung, erlischt auch die
Spannung am zweiten Magnetventil.
Das Modul VM10 reagiert nicht auf Störungen externer Regelungen, die an den Heizkessel angeschlossen sind.

Am MV 230V-Anschluss ( Bild 2, [1]) kann das zweite Magnetventil angeschlossen werden.
Verbindung
▶ Das Modul VM10 über ein Kabel vom Anschluss EMS
( Bild 1, [1]) an den RC-Anschluss der Klemmenleiste
des Heizkessels ( Bild 1, [2]) anschließen. Der Anschluss ist verpolungssicher.

Anschluss weitere Module

Sie können mehrere unterschiedliche Module (z. B. EM10 und
VM10) miteinander verbinden.
Um zwei oder mehr Module miteinander zu verbinden, kann der
Netzanschluss ( Bild 3, [2]) und der EMS-Anschluss
( Bild 3, [3]) jeweils weiterverbunden werden.

Es gibt eine LED, die entweder rot oder grün leuchten kann. Die
LED blinkt kurz rot, wenn die Netzspannung eingeschaltet wird.

Il modulo VM10 può essere collegato ad una caldaia dotata di
UBA 3/EMS.

Funzione del modulo VM10
Il modulo VM10 serve per comandare una seconda valvola elettromagnetica e viene impiegato nelle caldaie per funzionamento gas liquido. In presenza di una richiesta di calore, sulla
seconda valvola elettromagnetica compare una tensione.
La tensione sulla seconda valvola elettromagnetica scompare
se:
• sull’UBA 3 è presente un errore di blocco temporaneo,
oppure
• la comunicazione con la caldaia è interrotta da almeno
5 minuti.
Al termine della richiesta di calore scompare anche la tensione
sulla seconda valvola elettromagnetica.
Il modulo VM10 non reagisce ai guasti di regolazioni esterne
collegate alla caldaia.

▶ Collegare il modulo VM10 con un cavo dal morsetto EMS
( fig. 2, [1]) al morsetto RC della morsettiera della caldaia ( fig. 1. [2]). L’attacco è protetto contro l’inversione di polarità.

Si possono collegare tra loro più moduli diversi (ad es. EM10 e
VM10).
Per collegare tra loro due o più moduli, l’allacciamento alla rete
( fig. 3, [2]) e il morsetto EMS ( fig. 3, [3]) possono
essere collegati in successione.

È presente un LED, che può accendersi con luce rossa oppure
verde. Il LED lampeggia brevemente con luce rossa quando
viene inserita la tensione di rete.

Modul VM10’s virkemåde
Modul VM10 anvendes til styring af den anden magnetventil og
bruges til en gaskedel med udstyr til flydende gas. Når der
opstår et varmebehov, bliver den anden magnetventil aktiveret.
Magnetventilen bliver spændingsfri:
• hvis der opstår en driftsfejl i UBA3, der låser den, eller
• hvis kommunikationen med kedlen har været afbrudt
i mindst 5 minutter.
Når der ikke længere er et varmebehov, bliver magnetventilen
spændingsfri.
Modulet reager ikke på driftsfejl i eksterne reguleringer, der er
tilsluttet til kedlen.

De kan tilslutte flere forskellige moduler (f.eks. EM10 og
VM10) til hinanden.
For at tilslutte to eller flere moduler med hinanden, kan nettilslutningen ( fig. 3, [2]) og EMS-tilslutningen ( fig. 3, [3])
tilsluttes i serie.

Modulet er udstyret med en LED-indikator, der kan lyse rødt
eller grønt. LED-indikatoren blinker rødt i kort tid, når netspændingen tilkobles.
