he main objective of the Conference
Performing Arts in Language Learning is putting together scholars, teachers and educational institutions sharing a
common pedagogical orientation and willing
to exchange experiences and best practices.
This event is organized in the frame of the European project GLO-TOI: Glottodrama Transfer of Innovation, Lifelong Learning Programme, Action Leonardo Da Vinci, Transfer
of Innovation: www.glottodrama.eu.
The conference is also the launching event of
the first international association in this field
created by the international consortium leading the Glottodrama projects: EUROPEARLL,
European Association for Performing Arts Applied to Language Learning.
Programme:
The conference is divided into two sections:
1. Theatre, Arts and Languages: Theatre and
Drama in Education, Languages and the Arts,
Language Learning through Drama in School
and at University, Drama and the Teaching of
Literature and Culture, Vocabulary Acquisition through Drama, Languages and Playing
Methods, Theatre, Drama and Society.
2. The Glottodrama Method: the partners of
the GLO-TOI project will present the outcomes of their teaching experiments carried
out by employing the Glottodrama method in
a wide range of educational contexts.
The conference will host the following special events:
2 Practical Workshops:
1. The Glottodrama method applied to the
English Language
2. The Glottodrama method applied to the
Italian language
Free of charge, but with limited seats available (registration required).
Proceedings
An official publication with ISBN code will
be produced with the papers presented at the
conference. A digital version of the proceeding will be distributed to registered participants and made available on line.
The Organiser
The conference is organized by the Research
& Language Training Agency Novacultur
based in Rome. Novacultur is the coordinating
institution of the European consortium Glottodrama focusing since 2007 on an innovative
method aimed at teaching languages through
Drama and awarded in 2010 with the European Language Label: www.novacultur.it.

è quello di offrire a docenti e ricercatori
ispirati da un comune orientamento pedagogico, l’opportunità di presentare e confrontare
progetti ed esperienze realizzate sul campo.
L’evento è organizzato nell’ambito del progetto Europeo GLO-TOI, Glottodrama Transfer of
Innovation, Programma per l’Apprendimento
Permanente, Azione Leonardo Da Vinci, Trasferimento dell’Innovazione: www.glottodrama.eu
La conferenza rappresenta inoltre l’evento di
lancio della prima associazione internazionale in questo settore: EUROPEARLL, European Association for Performing Arts Applied to
Language Learning.
Programma:
La conferenza è divisa in due sezioni:
1. Teatro, Arti e Lingua: Teatro e tecniche
drammatiche nell’educazione, Lingue e Arti,
Insegnamento delle lingue attraverso il Teatro nella Scuola e all’ Università, Teatro e
Insegnamento della Letteratura e Cultura,
acquisizione del vocabolario tramite il teatro, Lingue e metodi ludici, Teatro, Tecniche
drammatiche e Società.
2. Il metodo Glottodrama: i partner del progetto GLO-TOI presenteranno i risultati delle
sperimentazioni realizzate in diversi contesti
educativi nazionali.
La conferenza prevede due eventi speciali:
2 Laboratori pratici:
1. Il Metodo Glottodrama applicato alla Lingua Inglese
2. Il Metodo Glottodrama applicato alla Lingua Italiana
I laboratori sono gratuiti ma a numero chiuso e quindi prevedono la registrazione.
Atti della Conferenza
Gli interventi saranno pubblicati, in forma di
articolo scientifico, negli Atti della Conferenza. La pubblicazione sarà resa disponibile in
formato digitale (ebook) con codice ISBN e
sarà distribuita gratuitamente ai partecipanti.

L’evento è organizzato dall’Agenzia di Ricerca
e Formazione Linguistica Novacultur di Roma.
Novacultur è l’istituto coordinatore del consorzio europeo “Glottodrama” che sperimenta dal
2007 una nuova metodologia per l’insegnamento delle lingue attraverso il laboratorio teatrale premiata nel 2010 con il Label Europeo
delle Lingue: www.novacultur.it.

Gli insegnanti delle scuole pubbliche potranno partecipare alla conferenza usufruendo dell’esonero dal servizio in base alla Direttiva Ministeriale del MIUR N. 90/2003 art.4, comma 6. Un
attestato di partecipazione verrà rilasciato a questo scopo.
