Company Profile
Founded in 1952 in France, at Monestier-de-Clermont, with an aptitude for
mountain-sports clothing, Moncler over the years has combined its style
with constant technological research. From this, Moncler has created a
unique and exclusive brand which, from its high-altitude origins has landed
in the major cities across the world, while remaining faithful to its roots. In
2003 Remo Ruffini took over the Moncler brand and is today Chairman
and CEO. In so doing, he put his global down jacket strategy into practice.
By working on both the fit and materials, the universal spirit of Moncler was
embodied with the variety of uses its products can have in all moments of
daily life.Today Moncler branded luxury products range from its haute
couture collections Gamme Rouge and Gamme Bleu with their exclusive
products and highly selective distribution, to the Grenoble collection of
stylish sporting and technical apparel, Special Projects whose innovative
style is the result of partnerships with cutting-edge designers, and the
Main collection, the best-known and most widespread collection.
