該当商品の基本栄養成分ならび肉体的な機能に有効であると強調する成分の有効性が十分に実証され、その結果健康と幸福の
改良そして/あるいは病気回避に貢献すると判断される商品を栄養機能食品とみなします。栄養機能食品は通常の食品形態（ピル
やカプセル様式ではありません）を持ち、日常のダイエットに必要な有効成分の量を表示する必要があります。
栄養成分 :
たんぱく質 (必須アミノ酸など)、炭水化物、脂肪 (必須脂肪酸など)、繊維、ナトリウム、ビタミンおよびミネラルその他の物質 :
栄養成分以外の栄養あるいは生理的効果が期待できる物質。例：酵素、プロバイオティック　および　プリバイオティック　ハーブ
などの植物と植物抽出物、植生物活性(カロチノイド、フラボノイドなど）、動物性活性（アスタキサンチン、臓器組織、分泌線、代謝産
