Information and reference materials related to each theme are displayed in the museum. よしたか 天正16年 （1588）に黒田官兵衛孝高が築いた、別 せんじょう 名「扇城」。本丸石垣、内堀は当時のままで、水門から 海水が入って潮の干満で水が増減する水城です。 Nakatsu Castle (Okudaira Family History Museum) Also known as “Senjo Castle”, it was built by Lord KURODA Kanbe Yoshitaka in 1588. The donjon, stonewalls and inner moat have been preserved in their original forms. The castle is also known as a water castle as the water level in the moat rises during high tide when seawater flows through the water gate. G-3 1588 년에 구로다 간베 요시타카가 건축한 성으로, 별칭은 [센조(부채성)]. 혼마루(성의 중심건물) 돌담, 우치호리(물이 있는 도랑)는 당시 그대로이며 수문으로부터 바닷물이 들어와 바닷물의 간만으로 물이 증감하는 물의 성입니다. B-1 福澤諭吉が長崎に遊学するまでの幼少青年期を過ご した家。庭に建つ土蔵は諭吉自身が改造したもので、 その2階で勉学に励みました。 4 ○蓬莱園 FUKUZAWA Yukichi's Former Residence / Memorial Museum tel.蓬莱観 0979-22-0538 ほう らい えん FUKUZAWA Yukichi grew up in this house and stayed here till he left to pursue his studies in Nagasaki. The warehouse in the yard was rebuilt by Yukichi himself, and he made his study area on the second floor of the same building. Visitors can also savor country dishes made with local produce. tel.0979-64-7122 후쿠자와 유키치가 나가사키에 유학할 때까지 유소년, 청년기를 지낸 집. 정원에 있는 흙벽으로 지은 창고는 유키치가 직접 개조한 것으로 그 2층에서 학업에 몰두했습니다. ごう がん じ 18 ○道の駅 耶馬トピア G-3 別名オランダ橋と呼ばれる耶馬 渓橋は、 わが国唯一の美しい8連 アーチの石橋です。全長116m の長さは日本一。 禅海和尚が30年かけて競秀峰 をのみと槌だけを使って掘った ずい どう 隧道です。菊池寛の小説「恩讐の 彼方に」でも知られています。 Yabakei Bridge Ao-no-domon Tunnel Yabakei Bridge is also called the "Dutch Bridge". It is the only stone bridge in Japan built in a beautiful series of eight arches. The bridge spans 116m and is the longest stone bridge in Japan. A monk known as Zenkai spent 30 years digging this tunnel at the Kyoshu peak using just a chisel and a hammer. The tunnel is also well-known through Kan Kikuchi’s novel, "Onshu-no-Kanatani". 별칭 네덜란드다리라고 불리워지는 야바케이다리는 일본에서 하나밖에 없는 아름다운 8연속 아치 돌다리입니다. 전체 길이 116m는 일본 제일. 센카이스님이 30년에 걸쳐 교슈봉우리에 끌과 망치만을 사용해 파낸 굴입니다. 기쿠치 칸의 소설 [온슈노 가나타니(은혜와 원수의 저편에)]로도 알려져 있습니다. tel.0979-52-3030 耶馬渓風物館、ふれあいステ ーションなどを併設した道の G-3 駅です。そば打ち体験道場で は自分で打ったそばをその場で味わうこともできます。 Driver’s Rest Area Yapa-topia This is a driver's rest area set up alongside the Yabakei Museum and a local products shop. There is also a corner where you can learn to make buckwheat noodles and savor your own handmade noodles after that. 야바케이 풍물관, 기념품 샵 등을 병설한 미치노에키(국가・ 지방자치단체에 의해 설치・운영되는 휴게소)입니다. 메밀국수만들기 체험도장은 자신이 직접 만든 메밀국수를 그 자리에서 맛볼 수 있습니다. にし たに おん せん 19 ○羅漢寺 3 ○合元寺 20 ○西谷温泉 tel.0979-53-2100 tel.0979-52-2538 tel.0979-22-2037 A-2 赤 壁 寺 の 異 名をもつ合 う つの 元寺。討ち死にした宇都 みや しげ ふさ 宮鎮房の家臣達の血が 付き、幾度塗り返しても 浮き出てくるため、 赤く塗 ったといわれています。 A-2 中津城を築き、城下町の基礎を造った戦国時代の天才 軍師・黒田官兵衛孝高。地元豪族「宇都宮氏」 との戦い や城攻めなどについて、パネルやドラマ仕立ての映像 で紹介しています。 蓬莱観は明治15年にできた劇場で、当代きっての名 役者たちが興行し、多くの観光客を集めました。戦時 中取り壊しに合い、戦後に庭園として整備されました。 B-2 Goganji Temple Goganji Temple is also known as the "Red Wall Temple". The vassals of samurai warrior, UTSUNOMIYA Shigefusa, died in battle here, leaving bloodstains on the wall. Even after the wall was re-plastered repeatedly, the bloodstains would not recede, thus leaving a wall of red. Horaikan Kuroda Kanbe Museum Built in 1882, this theater drew in large crowds with performances by the greatest actors of the time. It was demolished during World War Ⅱ and converted into a garden after the war. Kuroda Kanbe (also known as Kuroda Yoshitaka) was the genius strategist from the Sengoku period（period of warring states in Japan who had built the Nakatsu Castle and the foundations of the castle town. There are panels and films showing battle scenes, scenes of castle attacks against the local Utsunomiya ruling family, and other contents. とろりとした肌触りが心地よ い、 柔らかな湯の温泉。 また、 ロ G-4 グハウスや茅葺きの棟のキャ ンプ場もあり、 バーベキューなども楽しめます。 Rakanji Temple It is said that Rakanji Temple began with the religious training of the Hodo mountain hermits in year 645. Over 3,000 stone Buddha statues with a variety of expressions, including the Five Hundred Rakan Buddha, welcome each visitor to the temple.Designated as an important cultural property in 2014 as the oldest “Gohyaku-rakan” (meaning “hundreds of stone Buddha statues”) Nishitani Hot Spring The hot spring water is rich, yet soft to the touch. There is a campsite here, which consists of log houses and cottages with thatched roofing, where visitors can hold barbecue parties and other activities. 645년에 호도선인이 수행한 것이 그 시작이라 알려진 [라칸사]. 오백나한 등 삼천 여개의 다양한 표정을 한 석불이 반겨줍니다. 2014년 석불군이 일본 최고(最古)의 오백 나한으로서 국가 중요문화재로 지정되었습니다. The museum holds a large volume of medical material, including information on dissection of the human body that was carried out by the seventh generation Gensui*, as well as thousands of valuable reference materials spanning a variety of subjects. * Field Marshal in the Imperial Japanese Army. A number of books and references concerning Western studies, including "Kaitai-Shinsho" (translated from a Dutch book—Kulmus’ "Ontleedkundige Tafelen") have been preserved in this museum. Besides medical data, there is also a variety of historical data related to other fields of study. 47 calligraphic works and paintings by IKENO Taiga, a master of the Nanga art style, are stored and displayed in this hall. Having such a large number of his works in one place is a rarity in Japan. 물과 빛이 창조한 아름다운 경관 24 ○深耶馬溪 F-4 Maple Yaba Cycling Path This cycling course used to be a railroad track,so it has gentle inclines. The deity’s gate and main sanctuary form a dignified deity area with their brilliant architectural beauty. G-5 tel.0979-54-3000 Seasonal trees and flowers grow harmoniously in this Japanese garden. The garden was created as Yabakei Dam Memorial Park. Through the use of tens of thousands of rocks and water from the dam, the garden presents itself as a reenactment of mountain streams. Shinyabakei F-4 Yabakei Aqua Park This is the only municipal venue for water-skiing in Japan. Would you like to attempt water-skiing or wakeboarding at the best ski run in Japan? You can also enjoy other activities such as riding on a banana boat. H-2 Immerse yourself in breathtaking views such as that of "Hitome Hakkei", where you can take in eight types of scenery at one go. While the spring view of sprouting greenery comes highly recommended, the red autumn foliage is also a must-see. Daihatsu Motors Co., Ltd. G-2 三光 Mother Nature draws each breath in an environment of lush mountains. 풍요로운 산골짜기에 자연이 숨쉰다 ね はん ぞう 11 ○神護寺涅槃像 12 ○八面山荘 tel.0979-43-2553 tel.0979-43-2608 豊かな森林が守る山国川の清流 山国 豊かな山あいに自然が息づく The clear waters of the Yamakuni river are protected by bountiful forests. 풍요로운 삼림이 지켜주는 야마쿠니강의 맑은 물 ねん ぶつ ばし さる とび せん つぼ きょう 13 ○八面山 ま ばやし きょう 29 ○念仏橋･魔林峡 25 ○猿飛千壺峡 はち めん ざん 猿飛千壺峡の下流 300ｍに架かる橋。 ま そこから見える魔 ばやしきょう 林峡は千古の神秘 と静寂が漂ってい ます。 自然の渓流が長い時間を経て造り上げた大自然の造 形物で、国指定天然記念物。その昔、山猿が岩から岩 を飛び回っていたことからこの名がある。 Sarutobi-Sentsubokyo G-3 G-3 G-3 大きな石に刻み込まれた釈迦入滅の姿は全長7.88ｍ、 高さ1.4ｍと、西日本有数の大きさを誇ります。昭和 47年 （1972） に完成しました。 Jingoji Temple Nirvana Statue The depiction of Buddha attaining Nirvana is engraved onto a stone 7.88m long and 1.4m high. Completed in 1972, it is one of the biggest stone statues in Western Japan. 有料施設料金表 八面山の美しい眺望を生かした多目的研修施設で、 研修や合宿に最適。周辺には野外音楽堂もあり、自然 とふれあいながらくつろげます。 Hachimensanso This is a multi-purpose recreation center which utilizes the beautiful landscape of Mr. Hachimen. It is suitable for meetings or training camps, and is surrounded by an open-air concert hall so users can sit back and enjoy the natural environment around them. 標高659ｍで、四方八方から見ても同じ形に見える ため「八面山」の名前が付いたと言われています。 ド ライブやハイキングにも最適。 Mt. Hachimen Mt. Hachimen has an altitude of 659m. Views of the mountain do not differ much from every direction, hence the name "Hachimen*". It is best to take a drive or hike in this area. *"Hachimen" means "eight faces", and is derived from an expression meaning "from every direction".
