The FEMTO LDV Z8 will be able to perform a large variety of cornea, presbyopia and also cataract 1 procedures . The power of one: truly a unique variety of applications in one femtosecond laser. Very low energy combined with a high repetition rate has proven to provide superior outcomes in 2 corneal and presbyopia applications . This unique LDV laser technology is now fully incorporated in the FEMTO LDV Z8 device, providing gentle clear corneal and arcuate incisions, a precise capsulotomy and lens fragmentation. A new 2 in 1 liquid patient interface supports an excellent laser transmission and a low intraocular pressure is achieved. Its portability and compact design allows for an easy integration in the surgeon’s workflow.
