The FEMTO LDV Z8 will be able to perform a large variety of cornea, presbyopia and also cataract 1 procedures . The power of one: truly a unique variety of applications in one femtosecond laser. Very low energy combined with a high repetition rate has proven to provide superior outcomes in 2 corneal and presbyopia applications . This unique LDV laser technology is now fully incorporated in the FEMTO LDV Z8 device, providing gentle clear corneal and arcuate incisions, a precise capsulotomy and lens fragmentation. A new 2 in 1 liquid patient interface supports an excellent laser transmission and a low intraocular pressure is achieved. Its portability and compact design allows for an easy integration in the surgeon’s workflow. First clinical results will be shown during the ESCRS lunch symposium on Saturday, October 5, 13.00 – 14.00h in the meeting room G102/103 at the RAI congress center in Amsterdam.
