Title: Electrical Engineer II Job Description: The Electrical Engineer II reports to the VP of Operations of BioVigilant Systems, Inc., and focuses on the Company’s design, testing, and documentation of the electrical system requirements of its products. Primary Duties and Responsibilities: • • • • • • • Development of electro-optical, laser-based detection systems Design, analyze, and test electronic circuitry for scattered light detection, data acquisition, power supplies, and power distribution Improve current product quality and manufacturability Provide electrical engineering support for manufacturing department Review new customer requirements and support other departments in field applications Follow the Company’s QMS ISO 13485:2003 system Additional duties and responsibilities may be assigned as necessary Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: • • • • • • • • Good knowledge of electronic hardware and software systems Ability to build, troubleshoot and test various opto-electrical components using standard electrical test equipment Experienced in analog circuitry and amplifier design Experienced in schematic development software such as OrCAD Familiar with TUV and CE testing standards Experienced in product development Familiar with optics and optical test equipment Knowledge in data acquisition systems Credentials and Experience: • • B.S. in Electrical Engineering 3-7 years experience in related fields Travel Requirements: Occasional domestic and international Reports to: VP of Operation Location: Tucson, AZ QF 622-1.4 Version A CONFIDENTIAL
