◆ ネットワークに関する注意 ◆
ファイアーウォールソフトウエアについて
Raster Link Pro は、JAVA ベースで動作しています。そのためファイアウォールソフトがイン
ストールしてあると、正常動作しない場合があります。Norton Internet Security などをイン
ストールした場合、Norton Internet Security の設定を無効にしてもアンインストールしない
限り正常に動作しません。
Raster Link Pro インストール PC には、ファイアーウォール系ソフトをインストールしないで
ください。
セキュリティ確保について
Raster Link Pro インストール PC では、Windows Update 等を除き、Web サイトの閲覧や
電子メールの受信をしないで下さい。ActivX や JavaScript による、ブラウザーを利用した攻撃
を受ける可能性があり危険です。
Webサイトの閲覧や電子メールの受信をする場合、Raster Link Proとは別のパソコンにセキュ
リティソフトをインストールし、十分注意して使用してください。
インターネットに接続可能な環境の場合、Windows Update を使用して、Raster Link Pro イ
ンストール PC を含む LAN 内全てのパソコンを最新の状態にして下さい。
Web上のオンラインウィルスチェックサービスなどを利用して、ウィルスチェックを実施してく
ださい。
LAN とインターネットとの接続について
ISDN、ADSL、光接続の場合、ブロードバンドルーターを使用し、NAT･IP マスカレードを使用
してください。できるだけセキュリティ機能の高いルーターの使用をお勧めします。ファイアー
ウォール機能が付属している場合、ON にしてご使用下さい。
また、ルーターにもセキュリティーホールがあります。適宜ファームウエアのアップデートを行っ
てください。
ルーターにはネットワークゲームに対応する機能（仮想 DMZ、GAPNAT、UPnP など）が装備
されている場合がありますが、危険ですので使用しないでください。
モデムや CATV 接続について
ADSLモデムをUSBなどで直接Windows PCに接続することは、Raster Link Proインストー
ル PC 以外のパソコンにおいても大変危険です。ブロードバンドルーターを使用してください。
モデムを直接パソコンに接続する場合、MacOS X 以外の Macintosh を使用してください。そ
してモデムを接続するパソコンにファイアーウォールソフトをインストールしてください。その
際、グローバルアドレスを Raster Link Pro インストール PC に割り当てないでください。
CATV 接続に関しては、CATV 業者にお問い合わせ下さい。
◆ その他の注意事項 ◆
Adobe Illustrator との共存について
Raster Link Pro インストール PC に Adobe Illustrator をインストールしないで下さい。パソ
コンの動作が不安定になります。

♦ Raster Link Pro connection with Network ♦
Firewall software
Because Raster Link Pro is based on Java, Raster Link Pro will not run properly if the
Firewall software has been installed in PC. For example, Firewall software like “Norton
Internet security” has been installed; it is not run properly even the setting of Norton
Internet security disabled. You must uninstall the Norton Internet Security.
For the PC which is running Raster Link Pro, Please do not install Firewall software.
Security
PC for Raster Lin kPro should not be used for Web browsing or e-mail handling except
“Windows Update”. It is dangerous because there is a possibility to get the attack of
browser using ActivX or JavaScript.
Please use the PC other than the PC which is running Raster Link Pro for e-mail and
Web browsing. For this purpose, please install a kind of security software to the PC for
Web-browsing / e-mail.
If the internet connection is available, please update all PCs connected to LAN with
“Windows Update” to apply most current patch of Windows.
Please check the infection of virus with a kind of virus checker. There is free online virus
checker available on Web.
LAN and internet connection
When using T3, ADSL, Optic connection, Please use broad band router and use NAT or
IP masquerade for Internet connection.
We recommend the router which has the security protection function as much as possible. If the Firewall functions available on the router, please enable it. Most of router have
the security hall too; please update the firmware of route when available.
Some of route have the function for Network game, (Virtual DMZ, ,GAPNAT, UPnP etc),
it is vulnerable for business use. Please do not use such functions.
Modem, CATV connection
It is vulnerable in the case of ADSL modem with USB directory, even though it is not use
for Raster Link Pro. Please use broad band router for business use. If you want to connect the modem directory to PC, use the PC with Firewall software installed. (MacOSX
Macintosh is not recommended.) Please do not assign global address for the PC running
Raster Link Pro.
For CATV connection, Please ask for the advice of CATV Company.

Raster Link Pro with Adobe Illustrator
If the “Adobe Illustrator” is installed to Raster Link Pro PC, the PC works unstable. Please
do not install the software.
